Just watched it with the wife and our 6 year old. I kept looking at my wife hoping she had a good response for when my 6 year old asked what is a virgin. luckily, she didn't ask.

Just watched this for the first time and had now idea SJP was in it until I looked up the cast to see who that hot witch with the boobs was. Agree with everyone here on this being peak SJP

I kept looking at the actress playing the witch Mary (aka not SJP or Bette Midler) and kept thinking "crap why can I not picture what else I've seen her in."

Kathy Najimy? You've for sure seen her in a shitload of stuff. She's a fairly prolific character actor. She's probably best known for being the extremely boisterous nun Sister Mary Patrick in the two Sister Act movies.

This is why it works. It's not something the younger kids even notice. They are too busy looking at the candles. Older kids hear it and think it's funny.

This one has always confused me. I may be recalling wrongly, but when this came out it was pretty much forgotten week 2. Then it turns into some sort of every year cult classic?
