Did I miss it, or did Lily not tell Marshall where she went? Was this left out to become another storyline in the next few episodes? Or are we just to assume she was with Ranjeet?

wherever she went....the jowl gravity must have been ten times stronger.
shite...she is starting to look like my bulldog.

Good question. No, she didn't explain her whereabouts.
She just appeared. At first, I thought she was another 'ghost'.

I was wondering how they did 2006 Lily. I could tell it wasn't actually 2006 Lily, but it was a serious makeup job.

They may get to it in a future episode. We got two weeks off for the olympics til the next one and then a straight shot to the finale on 3/31.

I don't think he will ever really let her go til he moves on, this is just him trying to convince himself that he has let her go....again.
well we know he meets the mother on the train after the wedding, so he is roughly 16 hours away from moving past Robin.

Barney teaching those 2 kids the playbook and everything was awesome
Them trying to make Marshall be at fault for that argument was bullshite
I wanted to punch Ted in the face the entire episode, but he for real finally let go of Robin this time, which is nice
That ending with Robin flying away was gay as shite

16 hours is a really, really long time this season. He will likely need to let go 4 more times. Let's think of the moments:
1. Right before the wedding when Robin asks to speak to the best man
2. When he sees her walk down the aisle
3. When they say I do
4. When he leaves for the train station

Once an episode now I think they'll have a moment of Ted letting go.

There are still 4 1/2 hour episodes and 1 hour for him to pine about her.

I rather enjoyed the Lily/Marshall storyline this week. It was a really good message for married people. As much as I want Marshall to slap all that bad shite Lily did to him in the past in her face, that doesn't lead to a successful marriage. You got to let that shite go and move on. I am guilty of doing it to my wife and it has caused nothing but trouble.
I agree. while Marshall is totally right about the judgeship and staying in NY, he went about it the worst way possible. He should have told her and he was in the wrong there.
I think the show made a good point about "winning" arguments. when you're married, you are the same team. You shouldn't view arguments in terms of winning/losing, but collaboratively trying to decide what to do. Lilly's wrong for wanting to run off to Italy, but Marshall is also wrong for not treating his wife like a partner. They needed to discuss things, not fight about them. The show did a good job with this.
I think the locket is gone, BTW. I don't even think Ted would fish it out of the river. And I think he's letting Robin go while finally admitting he loves her. That's why he's letting her go. Ted is the kind of douche who loves the idea of self-sacrifice, which makes the wedding about him.

I think the next 2-3 episodes will be pretty light hearted. Last night they wrapped up Ted and Robin (hopefully), Marshall and Lily fighting, and Barney passing on his old life.
I think they'll have an episode or 2 to tie up old storylines, 1 or 2 about the last few hours before the wedding, then pick the drama back up with the last 30 minute episode before the finale

Yep, got to be on the same team, but occassional competition can make things interesting.
I think you are wrong about Ted not jumping in.

FYI, it is actually in The Lake in Central Park. I proposed to my wife next to the Bow Bridge.

Here's the episode names for the rest of the season:
Vesuvius
Daisy
Gary Blauman
The End of the Aisle
Last Forever - Part 1 & 2
The Blauman one interests me. That's the guy that quit his job at the bank with Barney because a relative started a website that went IPO and then attempted to pee on the conference table. Website was a bust and the guy ended up as a janitor.
Of course Barney could of not been truthful about it....

Well that whole episode pissed me off. Except for Barney's scenes
Typical that they turned the argument around and made it Marshall's fault for bringing up SF.
Ted cant stand seeing anyone else being in love or happy, its pathetic. Biggest attention whore

Yeah, I figured they'd have at least 1 callback to a previous season
That could be it
