I don't even know what the frick that is an frankly I have no desire to find out.
It's a fancy way of saying exploring the same psychological and sociological themes that were explored with basically every single female character in the original show....

Women's competitiveness is brought on by internalized misogyny. . .is about as sexist a statement as one could come up with.
Completely falls apart in the face of female ambition and sexual selection as a breeding impulse for the survival and improvement of the species.

Tell me about the misogyny theme with Missadei, Margaery, Arya, Sansa, Ygritte, Yara, Caitlyn, and Brienne.
Daenery's had about 200 themes going on. Cersei was not unfairly hated and Melisandre was a priestess so that's pretty obvious. So those are a given. But since you say with basically every single female character I wouldn't mind hearing more.

If this thread is proving anything, it's that the only way most of you seem to realize when themes of patriarchy and misogyny are explored in things like GoT is when Breitbart tells you you need to be outraged lol...
If you don't think/didn't realize Dany/Sansa/Arya/Brienne/Yara/Margary/Ygritte/Lyanna/Caitlin and almost every other female were all characters that's story was, at times, if not featured predominately for some, used to illustrate or challenge the patriarchal structure of the world they live in, you simply didn't pay attention to anything beyond "dur, dragons, swords, and boobies"

The old trusty elitist "you only believe what MSNBC/HuffPo/Fox News tell you to believe"
Usually uttered by the most undeservedly smug male feminists (read future date rapists) who have zero context for the statement proper.

Driven by personal ambition/revenge/sexual selection/love/maternal instincts/family legacy does not a lesson in misogyny proffer

Flying dragons are real but Misogyny and Patriarchy isn't acceptable.
What a time to be alive.

This. Nobody, and I mean nobody watches GOT in order to be educated about "internal misogyny". I don't even know what the frick that is an frankly I have no desire to find out.
Think: Medieval Sex in the City, but with more lecturing on "toxic masculinity" and no nudity.

Arya,
Arya's entire arc features her defying gender stereotypes and expectations in her society and Caitlin stands in as someone that promotes embracing them and finding strength and power within the patriarchal structure.
Sansa shades more like Caitlin, but hers is a journey, that is in part, starting with the naïve and misguided fantasy of being married off to a prince met with the harsh reality of the brutality that can exist for woman in such a system, and her subsequent relationships reflect other ways in which woman are subjugated and her entire journey is basically overcoming them within the system and breaking through to a position of power not normally given to her sex, literally killing her patriarchal oppressors at various points.
Brienne/Yara/Ygritte all reflect the different levels of equality and freedom(lack therof) for woman in different cultures and most defy gender stereotypes or expectations of their cultures(Ygritte though simply reflects a culture with much more equality amongst sexes, the free people as you will).
Though like with everything, pretty much all characterizations went to shite by the end with the show...

The end of game of thrones was very ffeminized.
Sansa and Arya get revenge on Littlefinger.
Arya kills the white walker king.
Brienne sleeps with Jamie.
Danaerys burns the city with her dragons.
Cersei is basically queen until she dies under rubble with Jamie.
All of the character building for the male characters was thrown in the dumpster for season 8. The female characters dominated the screen in all forms and I know it was intentional. Jon goes back to the wall, Jamie is a punching dummy and goes back to Cersei.
This news isn't surprising.

Lol, men are more likely to end up on the street, go to jail, drop out of school, be victims of violent crime, die in war.
They really dont want this. And i will not be watching this fricking garbage.

Arya's entire arc features her defying gender stereotypes
Being dismissed for being a small girl, like a couple times. . .there is her great patriarchy arc

Once again you are only illustrating that you lack any sort of formal intelligence to see the very shite you are being told to be outraged about(and like a good puppet abide cause Breitbart told you to melt so you melted). Since those themes weren't exactly hidden in the OG show. In fact they were sometimes insanely on the nose when it came to Dany, for instance.
