It was definitely a strong part of Arya's character from the very beginning. Dany's and Sansa's as well. It grew more "in your face" as the characters grew which is a natural progression.

thanks for the agreement I guess.

You’re the one who said:

quote:

Everyone involved has told you what this new series will be.

So should I listen to them or not?

And again, what’s different from
The first series where the explores the exact same themes openly and constantly.

No, its not.

This show was pitched and hand crafted by George RR Martin himself moron

He picked the showrunner, is taking a larger role in the writers room and developing the overall series arc and how it will unfold.

His complete exodus from the series after season 4 and Benioff/Weiss having to wing it on their own without any real book guidance a season or so later is roundly considered the point in which the show's quality began to precipitously drop.

They have. It's not going to be nuanced at all just because they said it one time. I'd like to think you're smart enough to get that, but that might be giving you too much credit.

HBO

Ironically though, you should have loved the post GRRM Thrones, since it is roundly considered when D&D fell most heavily into their tendency to use misogynistic tropes to advance the female characters within the plot.

No input from fat man? And conversely, no input from HBO for this series? Seems highly unlikely

Again, what’s different in the world that the female characters aren’t going to naturally have to deal with misogyny and the patriarchy in a literal patriarchal society?

Why is it “natural” in GOT but hamfisted here?

The difference is you already like GOT and don’t want to admit you overreact to everything in the media.

I'm better at you in literally every way possible.

I said it; therefore, it is true.

You dont have a point...at least not worth doing anything but clowning on

LNCHBOX: "Listen to what they tell you! This is gonna be a in your face woke lecture!"

Literal quote: “House of the Dragon really creates a nuanced conversation of misogyny,”

Also LNCHBOX: Nevermind, don't listen to what they say, assume what they don't!

You told us they said what the show is going to be like and we weren’t listening.

Now you’re pissed that people pointed out what they actually said the show would be like.

You’re a clown.

Didn't the OG GOT do this?

I mean the GRRM version, primarily via Cercei and, to a lesser extent, the Stark sisters?

It’s in the Op you’re talking about.

You losers love to bring up that I’m an attorney.

So you think that kind of shite doesn’t happen in legal matters? You think you don’t get called out on your actual argument?

If you said “the record speak for themselves” in a court case and the record disagrees with you every attorney worth their salt would slam you with that.
