Tony Khan's vanity project, All Elite Wrestling, could soon go the way of the dinosaurs, just as WCW did after its parent company, Turner Broadcasting, merged with Time Warner. It would be poetic justice after all the flack Khan has given former WCW head Eric Bischoff about his product going under.

It would be awesome if they sold off the HBO portion to Apple TV for a one stop top quality content. They can keep the reality show nonsense.

Huh. Maybe there's some truth to the DC comics movie rumors.

It is unclear how serious potential offers outside of Paramount would be. Netflix was not interested in buying legacy media assets, but didn’t want WBD to go to another buyer at a low price, a source familiar with the matter said.

While Comcast does not feel the need to do a deal, it will look at the possibility of pursuing WBD, sources close to the company told CNBC’s Julia Boorstin.

For any buyer that just wants WBD’s studio and streaming assets, acquiring them after a split later this year is better for tax purposes.

Paramount and WBD spokespeople declined to comment. Netflix and Comcast did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

By this, are they talking about CNN or something? Because Netflix is definitely hosting a handful of HBO originals like Six Feet Under, Scavenger's Reign, etc...

Under the Discovery twattery, they basically farmed out a bunch of HBO's shows to be streamed on other services and not exclusive to HBO Max.

DIRECTV stream has the best deal right now

No contract and 2 year price lock, and they announced in Sept it now includes EPSN Unlimited, Hulu w/ads and Disney plus with ads. This week they added Peacock Premium free and coming in Nov is HBO Max with ads free.

So all of those are included for as long as you keep DIRECTV stream.

You don't need them all all the time. Just cycle through them.

I have many of them and I need to do this. Anyone care to share how you turn on and off billing for services? Do you just pick a day of the month and say this is now on for a month and this is off and then reverse it the next month? What is your pattern for managing all the subscriptions?

We had the free-for-life thing through AT&T and it was nice. But then they killed that like a year ago. I still need to see the last season of The Righteous Gemstones

This is gonna end up with them merging with another streaming service that further dilutes the amazing library HBONow started giving us 10 years ago isn’t it?

SCOOP: People inside @paramountco - @Skydance say David Ellison, advised by his father, Oracle co founder Larry Ellison, is reluctant to pay more than $25 a share for @wbd as the buyout drama continues. His last offer, the third rejection from David Zaslav, was $23.50 to be exact. Company still weighing a "public" aka hostile offer for $WBD, which they will argue cannot be sold to other players who are interested, including @comcast, because of regulatory roadblocks. Full story to be posting soon. cc @DawnC331

I went ahead and cancelled. It was a good spot as Peacemaker is over, there are no good McBride shows, and Dragons will still be a while. I don't really like anything they have right now, so off it goes.

I kind of like the Chair show but I'll just catch it when they run some kind of special in the future. Hopefully that will be around the time Dragons comes back.

Going from featuring the almost complete Warner Bros. cartoon catalogue to their dicing up and farming out the different shows to other platforms is their biggest sin. As soon as they removed "One Froggy Evening" I knew they didn't give a shite about their history or customers.
