Given the movies and books came out almost 20 years ago, it's not like you're spoiling anything by discussing S2 casting. And as said, they're already casting.
If anyone has seen Hoult in The Great, he'll absolutely knock this role out of the park.

Gilderoy Lockhart, like nearly all of JK Rowling's characters, was fantastic and they did a good job with this casting.

I think he backed out due to “outrage” from twitter warriors that hate JK because of the trans nonsense. Scheduling conflicts is just a neutral way of putting it.

I think it's going to crush it, even with the dumb Snape casting. Yea, I could see Game of Thrones level viewership. It will almost certainly have more viewers in S1 than GoT did in S1.
