The first movie was awesome. I was 13 and saw it in the theatre. I dont even remember the 2nd one.

I don't care what anyone says, Gremlins 2 was the tits.... Rambo Gizmo, Brainiac Gremlin, Spider Gremlin, and Drag Queen Gremlins

Releasing a teaser for a legacy sequel still two years out from theaters is a bit weird but I'll be cautiously optimistic and hope this means they are taking the time to build a shitload of animatronic gremlins.

Its a great movie in its own right. Its a radical example (considering its budget at the time that was 5 times more than the original) of a meta deconstructionist film that actively mocks the very concept of Hollywood cash-in sequels.

It was originally supposed to release November 2027 so I guess this was their announcement of the delay in some ways

They picked the right month at least. Assuming it plays into Halloween, which would make sense.

There are very few movies I will go to see in the theater anymore. I will see this. I love Gremlins
