Braveheart

The Blue Max

The Great Escape

Not sure if you want to include Schindler's List as it's more of a drama set in war.

Guns of Navarone

The Dirty Dozen

The Hurt Locker

Dammit man! I'm really sorry to hear this. Really hoping you get better.

Give me your email and I'll send you a pic of my cyst that's causing all this. It's creepy/scary to know that's on my brain. It sucks this go round bc I'm most likely going to have to have another brain surgery. That's why I haven't been posting much lately. I got freauxs and flairs now, I'll send it to y'all too.

Sorry to hear that man.

To the OP, is Downfall considered a war movie?

If you don't mind my asking, where is it located? Temporal lobe? Right or left hemisphere? Hope it isn't in the left temporal lobe so any surgery leaves your language functioning intact.

I only ask as I am a neuropsychologist. Good luck!

Damn, that's terrible. Had high hopes when you said you were getting your drivers' license back. I thought school was the thing preventing you from posting as often. I'm guessing both of those things are gonna be on hold again for a while, huh?

jamohn05@gmail.com is my e-mail. Hope you keep us posted and I hope it's good news.

I've been thinking this as well. Maybe it is a tournament algorithm this time. Frak, that Dan is worse than the replicators. Maybe, Dan is really an acronym D.A.N. for Disruptive Algorithm Noid or something.

I seriously hope so because I mention it in every single "war movie" thread. It would suck to know that I've been wasting precious server space all this time.

Exactly.

Anyway, I didn't see anyone mention "The Hurt Locker". I know a lot of people don't care for it, but it should probably still be on the list.

One does not simply waste server space on TD.

On that note, I guess Lord of the Rings qualifies.

Frontal lobe. The first time they went in they cut about a 5 inch line on my hairline above my left eye. I told my Neurologist that my motivation and memory has really been affected and he said that part of the brain has to do with both of those.

Sorry for the minor hijack. Another reason why I got shafted on that award.

Definitely the motivation aspect. Memory can be affected by lesions in many areas. You have also likely noticed attentional difficulties. If you haven't had a neuropsych eval yet you may wish to consider one as it can help to better identify any problems you may be having and recommendations can be made for future treatment options as well as any accommodations you may be eligible for in school.
