Topic doesn't make sense. If a movie has a terrible ending it is not a great movie. It may be a good movie, but it is not a great movie. There are no great movies with terrible endings. There may be great movies with okay endings or so-so endings but not terrible endings. It's like saying name a great beer that tastes terrible.

I don't understand how any movie could be considered great, if it has a bad ending. Just my opinion...

the seriousness of the botched helicopter rescue scene being overlayed with Avner porking... i thought was kinda cheesy and in poor taste. also, it would been more satisfying if it ended with them actually killing Salameh instead of the dull unresolved conflict with avner and mossad guy

It may not have been a "terrible ending" but I hated the ending of Se7en.
