This is the dumbest thing I've seen on the internet today. That one must have went over your head.

War Horse from Spielberg popped to mind.

I liked Warhorse. I think I have a soft spot for stories about horses though.

FIFY

Go work on yourself and do some shadow work. Then come back and watch this movie.

Nolan’s worst is Dark Knight Rises IMO.

Ridley Scott: Alien: Covenant

The stage play is amazing.

Guy Ritchie

King Arthur's Legend of the Sword

Aladdin
Wrath of Man
Revolver
Operation Fortune
The Downey/Law Sherlock Holmes sequel

And holy Jesus christ, the film he made with his then wife, Madonna, Swept Away. Nothing is worse than that.

Ritchie made 2 good movies, 3 fun movies, and a bunch of dreck. He ain't a great director.

I submit a tie for Clint Eastwood:

15:17 to Paris and Cry Macho. Both barely written. Both incompetently filmed and edited. And it's not just his age, as the other films he's made in the past decade have, at least, a floor of respectable mediocrity (Juror #2, The Mule, Richard Jewell, Sully).

Todd Phillips - Joker: Folie a Deux

That film gave me a brutal reality check that you can literally have the same exact same production crew for a sequel and it can still turn out to be complete dogshit.

Shutter Island, of course, but I agree. Don't understand the love people have for this movie - the twist at the end is absurd. I also hated Killers of the Flower Moon, however, which was probably the most pretentious movie I've ever watched. As a wise man once said - it insists upon itself.

It’s not awful by any means, but Mickey 17 may be Bong Joon Ho’s worst. It’s definitely below all his Korean movies.

By that rationale we wouldn't be able to count Citizen Kane as Orson Welles best movie

I disagree about Shutter Island. As far as Scorsese goes, and I'll probably get piled on here, but I really did not like Gangs of New York. DDL is fantastic as usual, but I just found the whole thing boring in a way completely unlike Scorsese. The soundtrack was awful, the sets were dull and looked like a Disney ride, and Miramax involved themselves way too heavily.

Scorsese should be raw, brutal, and edgy. GONY was anything but that imo
