Either Jamie or Tyrion will lead the Lannister army to betray the Gold Company and Euron. I don’t think we are getting a traditional head to head battle

This is the best possible ending but it won't happen. Last night's episode showed us all we can expect the entire realm to kneel to a bunch a' fricking hobbits or whatever.
Expect something very conventional. Something decided by a focus group.

I don’t think they needed to die but everyone inside Winterfell’s courtyard was surrounded and fighting 10 on 1 wave after wave for several minutes on end without anyone dying. Also everyone that was somebody in the crypts also survived.

Episode 4 will be the start of Dany's descent into madness. Arya had to kill the NK to help prevent the inevitable feminist backlash when Jon takes Dany's throne.

They left Dany and Jon with no army to fight Cersei.
Cersei played it perfectly and now has a huge advantage, minus the dragons, which she has weapons against.
Those are actually good points and I've been in Cersei's corner for a long time now.
For me, the only way to salvage the show now is for her to outright win the throne. But of course this won't happen.
We'll get a very conventional ending to all this.

I said this in the other thread, but since these people love foreshadowing, Mountain catches Arya in the same manner as Brienne and the NK. Arya pulls the same knife trick and stabs the Mountain. Mountain is unaffected makes her skull match Oberyn's. Hound arrives late and starts the bowl.

He's gonna die and be the bittersweet ending with Dany raising their child as Queen.

And should've stayed about. The writers and producers of the show proved without a doubt last night the white walkers were pointless.
