But that prolonged look between Littlefinger and Arya at the end of that scene, with Littlefinger smiling and Arya with the dead stare, wasn't by accident.
Also, I think Arya said something about most of the people on her list being dead, so Sansa can be pretty confident she has killed people as well.

I thought Varys insinuated in Season 1 while conversing with LF in the throne room that he knew he helped the Lannisters with John Aryn.. I easily could be wrong and just want to get it right. I knew Pycelle also let him die as Tyrion threw him in a cell to rot.
So, LF had him killed to protect the Lannisters? Or, he killed him so that Stark would come to KL and he knew he would be the one to track down the Lannisters as the logical culprit in this murder? Thus, starting the GofT story.
Crazy LF started all this mess with one murder.

This episode was damn near perfect. I thought Bronn was dead for sure though, and I even thought for a second they might kill Jaime.

Well in the books at least, Varys is a pathological liar, so I think they were going off of that at the time.
But no he didn't do it to protect the Lannisters. His goal was to start a war between the Starks, Lannisters, and Baratheons. If Jon Arryn had told Robert about the incest, it would only result in Robert killing Cersei, Jaime, and the children while marrying Margeary. That does no good for LF, so he had Lysa kill him and then write to Cat that the Lannisters killed her husband.
It was a complete lie and the Lannisters were ignorant that Jon Arryn was onto them. They just let him die in hopes that Tywin or Jaime would be named Hand of the King. The only reason LF knew is they questioned a whore at LF's brothel about her son and then LF had him killed over it.
