If the theory that everybody who dies north of the wall is true, one of those guys could have bit the bullet and sacrificed themselves as soon as the got across and then they could have brought him back through and voila, instant proof. Only 1 person has to die. Or heck, they could have picked a red shirt to kill and brought him back.

They don't know that for a fact though, nor has the show established such, especially when the Night's King reanimated them in front of Jon and Tormund.

Kind of a moot point given the state of the realm, but if you just go down from Aerys, then it is Jon who has the more rightful claim to the throne.

How? Why? That's my question. Wife and I are discussing it. She says Danys is the rightful heir. Not Jon

Like it could have been perfectly paced in the middle. Not too fast or too slow if they had just spread it out.

D & D want to wrap the show up.

That water under their boat as they yelled "heave" as they shoved off wasn't from the waves.

So we now know that Jon Snow is legit. We also know that Danys is "queen." Danys is Jons aunt. Who is rightful heir and why?
once Aery's died Rhegar became king. Once Rhegar died Jon (Jaehaerys) became king.

But yeah there's a few posers in here pretending.

It's all good though. See y'all next weekend.

Fire doesn't affect them does it?

When Benjen Stark saved Bran and Meera he killed them with fire from his flaming ball on a chain weapon.

He never was. Are you just realizing this?

Because he's the son of the crown prince and a male.

Yeah, I was talking to a couple of show watchers this morning. They both thought Jon and Dany were cousins or something distant. I had to literally draw them a picture to explain that she's his aunt.

And now we've got Cersei ready to proudly proclaimed that she's been knocked up by her brother. This show is getting fricked up.

My point is Cersei Lannister is on the throne, a woman who really had no claim to speak of. But if you follow the conventional succession, then yes Jon is the rightful King of the Seven Kingdoms.

How the hell did no one in the 7 Kingdoms catch word that Rheagar's marriage was annulled?

No.

He's the son of Ned's sister (who we saw dying from childbirth in Bran's flashback last season). And Rhaegar Targaryen, who took her there.

Tonight we got confirmation that Rhaegar had his marriage to his wife at the time (Oberyn Martell's sister, the one he was supposed to be avenging in King's Landing) annulled and legitimately married Lyanna Stark (Ned's sister). This makes Jon Snow a legitimate Targaryen heir to the throne.

Congrats, you read spoilers and posted them as your theory. I hope you get permabanned.
. I hate reading spoilers. Much better to watch the episodes. I make a lucky guess and you get all pissy? Get a life loser. Anyone could see that scene coming a mile away. Either Drogon was going to eat or flame or it was going to be a complete 180. There is no middle ground for such scenes.

I'm assuming this is sarcasm. Because it's getting very tiresome.

Just because the episode didn't match your fan fiction doesn't make it bad. In fact, it makes it better.

The seven kingdoms was ruled by an family overrun with incest for thousands of years. It's always been a fricked up show
