I swear to you in one video he claimed that all the readers think it's going to end with Jon and Dany's baby on the throne, hence "The Song of Ice and Fire". He also said that Bloodraven was 500 years old and fought with Aegon the Conquerer. It was the ramblings of a lunatic.

I don't think the kid will end up in the iron throne, but I don't think them having a kid is completely out of the question

Honestly, it's not like it didn't happen with regularity IRL either. The Habsburgs, Egyptian royalty, Victoria and Albert's descendants, etc.
There you go. That's the spirit. Jon and Dany hookup crew activate!

EDIT: Granted there is the Crackpot theory with that in Meera and Jon were twins and Howland took Meera.

I'm generally against twists that don't really change things. That's part of why I'm against this theory as well as that lunatic Preston's original theory.

Well we know for sure it's not going to be a happy ending, more bittersweet, which makes me believe that's Dany won't get the Iron Throne but Jon will.

Jon dying twice wouldn't make any sense, but maybe that's what they want. But characters rarely get what they want so I see no reason why Dany should get her ultimate prize. I think she sacrifices herself in the end leaving Jon to rule.

It makes more sense for that to happen since Jon really doesn't want to rule. I think all he wants is to become a Stark and be left alone.

I can't imagine any scenario where Jon doesn't die.

Jon or Dany will die. The other will usher in the new era.

Or FatMan can say not so fast and let the Night's King wreck face and we get a spinoff called "Game of Bones."

Are you talking book or show? In the show I kind of expect Dany to die and Jon to very reluctantly take up the Iron Throne to rebuild Westeros.

In the book I really, really hope Sir Fatfrick has taken all this time to release Winds because he has rewritten the big picture. Both Dany and Jon die, with Aegon taking his rightful place on the Iron Throne.

My money is on Jon doing the dying.

"When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves. When your womb quickens again, and you bear a living child. Then he will return, and not before." - Now maybe that means, "never" - but, I think this non-literal prophecy is about events leading up to the War for the Dawn. So, Dany may yet live to bear a living child - perhaps with the "soul" of Drogo.

The source material and the show seem to be consistent in setting up Snow as a messianic figure - he's already literally died and been reborn. While we do not see him diminished, yet, as Dondarrion is, we first see Dondarrion after a number (5 or 6) of deaths (at least after the initial time when Ned sends him off to certain death).

And Jon even suggested that he wouldn't want to come back again, IIRC.

I think somehow, someway Sansa ends up on the Iron Throne.

As a girl, all she wanted was to be queen.

Then, she learned it wasn't worth it.

But, along the way she learned how to do it.

So even though she doesn't want it, she will be what's left. Because she's a survivor. That's the core of her character.

In my scenario for a perfect ending Jon dies bringing peace to Westeros. His spirit wanders north (even though we've already been told there is no afterlife, only darkness). He trudges through the snow and ice and eventually finds the cave where he first broke his vows to the Night's Watch. He remembers Ygrette's words "We should've stayed in that cave". He enters the cave and finds it empty which is what he expected. He strips off his armor covered in blood and hair and brains and gets into the hot spring for old times sake. He says to himself "Well I guess this is it then". Then he hears a familiar voice whisper from behind "You know nothing, Jon Snow". Fade to black.

Saw ep3 again last night...maybe the LF line wasn't so much gibberish after all, given that Bran tells Sansa he can do the very same thing in the next/adjacent scene?
"Seeing everything all at once"

But What was the purpose of that coming from LF?

I disagree. I don't think GRRM would kill him and then bring him back to kill him again.
