Yep, Grey Worm must do crossfit.
Nah. If he were, he'd have already made sure to let everyone know.

I took it the other way; I was waiting the whole time for Tarly to say yes. He never did, instead he went into the speech about oaths and honor.
He showed up, Cersei gave her speech, and Jaime buttered him up with the offer. Tarly looked at him like he was a fool, and left.
I agree. Loyalty means something to Tarly. If I were him I would swear to her just so I could get the frick out of KL with my head. Once I got home I would be all about convincing Olenna I was still her bannerman.
I don't know if Tarly would jeopardize his word though, he seems to be a bit unbendable (like Stannis).

Can someone please explain the difference in the 2 threads? What am I missing here
When it comes up, the posters in this thread will discuss stuff from the books and how it relates to the show (like the volanqar and the Prince that was promised). The posters in the other thread haven't read the books and get upset when stuff like this is mentioned. So basically there are two threads to keep the non book readers happy.

The tits are nice, but if I want great tits, then I'll look up Faye Reagan.
Just look up "bloated candy corn" and you'll get the same results.

Little finger is going to kill everyone in the North with his army and take Sansa while Jon is traveling.
That may be his plan now, but soon a girl will make an appearance (and possibly feed him his own balls in a pie).
BTW: Did anyone else cheer when Nymeria showed up?

quote:What I mean by that is simply- Randyll has always been about strength and duty, never subscribed to emotions, never reacts out of anger, is calculating.
Sam is pivotal in that, so I expect Randyll will survive too... they'll have an arc that follows Randyll's contempt for Sam. I suspect that means Randyll makes it almost all the way, and then receive a fatal blow from a White Walker, while doing his "manly" stuff. And his "girly" son Sam kills said White Walker with papa's sword, and Randyll welcomes him back with his dying breath.
He will likely fall in a way similar to the way the Thenn did at Hardhome, fighting bravely and with honor but in a hopeless matchup. Sam then takes out that White Walker, not trying to be dashing or valiant, but because it's simply he must do it or die.
Randyll sees that, and calls Sam to him. Sam is scared and sheepish, thinking he has failed yet again, but Randyll tells him he stood and fought like a man, and has earned his pride and respect.
Of course I could be wrong, but I just sense some redemption coming for Sam, and I think Randyll has to be the one who does that.
The only other option would be for Sam to kill Randyll somehow, and I just don't see that happening.

I figured Bran would have met up with Jon and Sansa tonight. He needs to jump in this shite because I am ready to see some dragon warging!!

And having just read the Hodor thread, it looks like the non book readers don't pay any attention to what actually takes place in the show... or they're just really, really stupid.

Whos was that hanging from the front of the boat at the end? I thought I saw a skirt overlying the pants. Would that be Yara?

Thought it was the sand snake who euron choked out

Yo that was lit. The Dornish girls are the worst characters on the show. I'm liking Euron much more now.

And how can a fleet sneak up on another fleet without anyone sounding an alarm?

It was one of the Sand Snakes

Ok, so I have a crackpot thought.
I am not a book reader, just an avid show watcher. I've heard the theory, among many others, but that this series is actually being read by a maester and is history in the present. Sam comment to professor slughorn that he should use a more poetic name (like "A Song of Ice and Fire", right?
So my guess is Sam wrote the historical story and someone is reading it.

Anyone think maybe Euron tortures them into giving up Danny's plans to take Westeros?

Also, it's been mentioned, but the secret weapon dragon slayer crossbow was lame as hell. That being said, the dungeon with all of the dragon skulls was pretty cool.

It's called the Silence for a reason.
