From what I remember from the books, the White Ravens are used to announce the arrival of Winter. I'm almost positive this already happened in one of the very early seasons, but I could be wrong. Do they have any other purpose?
I think any announcement the Oldtown maesters deem important enough. Maester Cressen, the Dragonstone maester in the beginning of A Clash of Kings just says that they are only used for the most important of messages.

There's probably not a book reader out there that doesn't want Jaime's arc to change. Something has to serve as the catalyst. B&P could be a damn good guess.
I think Jamie's arc has been gradually changing all season. He had to come to grips with the death of his daughter. And he had to try (and fail) to give his son some much needed advice.
And I think his interactions at River Run showed a good bit of increased maturity. He consented to Brienne's plan to try and talk sense into the Blackfish. He gave her Oathkeeper permanently even though she tried to give it back. He let Brienne and Pod go.
Of course he still has his incestuous infatuation with Cersi holding him back. But I think the showrunners are doing that to up the drama when the break does come - probably in a violent manner.

Bama viewers don't understand what the hubbub is all about.

Jaime got his mojo back

I mentioned that in the other thread; that shite is hilarious

How does noone notice that during filimg or during editing

Ghost wasn't in last episode for the exact reason you thought he wasn't in the last episode...money

“Battle of the Bastards” director Miguel Sapochnik also spoke with Business Insider’s Jethro Nededog, explaining the absence of Ghost. “[Ghost] was in there in spades originally, but it’s also an incredibly time consuming and expensive character to bring to life,” Sapochnik told Business Insider on Monday. “Ultimately we had to choose between Wun-Wun and the direwolf, so the dog bit the dust.”

Does Sansa or little finger know that Jon died and was resurrected?
It'd be awesome if they plotted and killed Jon, then he comes back and kills them both.

Sansa knows for sure
That is the exact opposite of the word awesome

This ^^^^. I don't need anymore meaningless deaths.

At this point I hope Sansa dies. She betrayed Jon by not telling him about LF offer.
She needs to go. She prob didn't mind Rickib dying, Jons army and possibly Jon dying before LF arrived. That way she could have claim to winterfell.

I wouldn't got that far but the entire scenario made no sense. Hell, if Rob had known that LF was on his way with the Knights of the Vale, he could have simply delayed the confrontation until the cavalry literally arrived likely saving thousands of lives.

I'm still sticking by the LF ruling Winterfell theory
But that's silly though.

I don't know about her needing to die, but it was funny how a few episodes ago she was all like we have to save our little brother no matter what and last episode she's like we'll never get Rickon back so let him die.

I don't like it or think it will happen, but it's really not that silly.
Littlefinger clearly wants the power (evident based on his conversation with Cersei last season) and Sansa, and OML is absolutely correct in that Littlefinger would be happier if Jon Snow was dead.

Two questions:
1. Everyone seems to think Cersei is going to burn everything down. We've seen Bran's vision and Cersei and Qyburn discussed rumors, but is there any other evidence of this?
2. Why do so many people think Jaime may kill all the Freys? That absolutely sounds like wishful thinking. I don't see there being any possibility of this based on what we currently know.

1. Too many signs point to cersei being insane enough to do it and she has the knowledge of the wildfire
2. Wishful thinking. We want jamie to be a good guy damn it

1. Will probably happen because it's the most obvious, and they've been aiming at obvious lately.
2. Will probably happen because people seem to want it to happen and it seems like that's all they've been doing lately.
Like the last few episodes were written by a focus group. "Tell us what you'd like to see" "well i wanna see Ramsay get chewed up by his dogs and I wanna see the hound come back and hatchet people and dragons and tits and I like those terminator movies, can y'all make a terminator happen?"
