Do you think they'll change up his escape scenes and her death from what is portrayed in the book?
I have no idea. Maybe they leave Summer out of his escape or his near run in with Bran and Jojen.
I wish they would split Rickon and Osha off already.

Should we expect for him to be back at the wall by end of S3?
I think so, or on the way back to the wall.

Anyone else disappointed we didn't actually get to witness the scene of Tyrion explaining the marital situation to Sansa and Shae. Seem like a cheap way out.

Dear god I hope not.

Funny I watched the show last night with an opposite Hodor. She read the first four books, and has never watched the show.
She watched last night's episode and kept pointing out how different it was.
Where is Edric Storm? Why is Melisandre with Thoros?
Why was Sansa promised to Loras and not Wyllas? Damn Joffrey killed that girl with a crossbow.
Ygritte never knew Jon was still a crow....
I notice the differences but that was funny to me, to see that take on it.

Yes, I was upset about that too.
Also Littlefinger is a cunning bastard.

I bet there are certain moments when he's with Ygritte that Jon himself is not sure where his loyalties lie.
And, in the end he realizes that the interests of both groups are pretty dang similar.

Did you read the books?...Just kidding.
The Red Viper is at Tyrion's trial after they accuse him of killing Joff.
I could not remember, and I am only 42% through my re-read. Remind me, does the Red Viper fight as Tyrion's champion in response to the killing of Joff or Tywin?

Joff. He hasn't stood trial for Tywin.

It will be similar I think, but much more dramatic.

Yeah, I hope they completely avoid that storyline next week. Hopefully, it will be Dany, Jon, Slayer/Coldhands, and King's Landing mostly. However, opening an episode with the Red Wedding would also be a nice "boom".
No way Episode 9 doesn't end with Arya taking an axe to the face. A good way to start off Episode 10 would be to zoom in on Grey Wind's face and to zoom out revealing it to be attached to Robb Stark's body, then show the Freys celebrating and throwing a naked, dead Cat into the river.

Omg that would be amazing.

Wasn't the Tywin/Joffrey showdown like one chapter ahead of the wedding? Seems retarded to drag that onto season four just to put in the 1st episode or so. IMO, the Red Viper need only show up for the trial. He didn't have jack shite to do with the wedding.
Yeah, I don't see why the Purple Wedding would take more than 10 minutes. No need to go through with all the dishes, songs, dancing bears, and jousting dwarves. Change it instead to Joffrey bringing out Robb's head to Sansa and then Tyrion obviously flips his shite.

They should probably end episode 10 on a good note then.

It'll be interesting... By not mentioning Willas Tyrell, some of the backstory of the red viper is lost.
They could change that pretty easily to Margeary's father.
