There have been some theories about that, in that Old Nan suggested that the Night King was a previous Brandon Stark and that every generation of Starks appear to have one to the point where they have to nickname them "The Builder", "The Burner", etc.
Someone posited the theory that, because of Bran becoming "unstuck in time" as he is, it's possible he somehow IS every previous Brandon Stark.
If the two theories both turn out to be true, then you have Bran as both himself and the Night King which partially explains how he is out of his gourd since getting "touched" by the Night's King.

It also makes sense for the Stark's to always say "Winter is coming" and have it be cyclical.
Cause they are all related/the same.

The clear plan of a final battle would be a dragon rider with a Valarian sword coming in and landing... the dragon then burns the zombies to keep them back, while the rider duels the Night King, and beats him 1 on 1.
I hope this is not a spoiler.

It can't be because season 8 spoilers haven't been leaked. They're still filming season 8.

The defeat of the Others in The War for the Dawn has never been detailed. All we know is the First Men and the Children of the Forest united to drive them back and the stuff about Azor Ahai, Nyssa-Nyssa, and Lightbringer

Here's what I've wondered. So do they have there hearts set on killing any particular group or region or is it just kill everyone?
So if I'm in Dorne or Bravos or Essos should I be worried?

Theres a lot of evidence that all the prophesies and religions are connected in some way and are just different interpretations of The Long Night. And the Dothraki believe that one day "ghost grass" will cover the entire world and thats how the world will end. While there is an actual grass called ghost grass, the Dothraki are not a type of people to write down things, so it couldve been lost in translation over the years and confused into something else but Ghost grass seems like an easy metaphor for snow or for white walkers and the winter they bring
so to answer your question, Im pretty sure the white walkers are looking to destroy the whole world

Thank, Faith of the Seven, the Mad King killed him since he was engaged to his own mother.

As soon as the Neck freezes over you should worry in Dorne.
Essos would take a few generations and literally making the planet freeze over for them to cross.
Although...never mind

not everybody knows how to kill the wights but in theory Dany should be able to dragon blast them all and then all the people with dragonglass and valyrian steel should be able to fight one on one with the White Walkers. We saw the White walkers march right through the fire balls that the children threw at them, so must be immune to it. One problem I see is what if she burns people on her team? Another problem is do we have enough hand to hand fighters to kill the White Walkers? I don't think they can shoot ice stuff ala mortal combat but hell, who knows!

I wonder if the NK can see through them like Bran does with other animals?

These things aren't smart enough to build catapults and artillery weapons are they? Does the Night King have some ability to shoot ice stuff ala Mortal Combat or something? If not, then we just send the three dragons, don't even need any men, and just fly over and roast them, right? Battle over?
what a fricking douchebag
