Did King Tommen just get to go Michael Corleone on the realm?
The 3 greatest claims to his throne were eliminated, without him being on camera.
King Stanis, his uncle, brother of King Robert-Dead
Princess Myrcella Baratheon his elder sister-Dead
Jon Snow son of Rhaegar- Dead
His In-laws are still in jail or across the Narrow Sea
His Masters of Whispers just raised Luca Brasi

Bingo. If Jon doesn't come back, frick this show. He will though. Too many reasons.

Well, that pretty much settles it. Fans watched in horror during the Sunday, June 14 Game of Thrones finale, as everyone’s favorite member of the Night’s Watch, Jon Snow (Kit Harington), took stab after stab before finally getting knifed in the heart.
The curly-haired hunk then fell to the ground as blood pooled around him. Basically, he wasn’t having the best of days. But devoted fans of both George R.R. Martin’s Song of Ice and Fire book series and the hit HBO show weren’t entirely convinced that Snow was officially dead, especially considering the books left things a little more subjective.
But GoT director David Nutter set the record straight — as far as his HBO series goes — in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter on June 15, saying point-blank, “Jon Snow is dead.” Nutter went on to praise British star Harington, describing his last day on set.
“He is a consummate professional,” the director told THR. “It wasn’t unlike the Red Wedding where everyone gets attached to people when you work with them for such a long time. You really grow quite fond of each other. You’re family. It was a lot of sadness on set… I took all of the extras aside prior to shooting the sequence and we read the Night's Watch creed together, because I wanted them to feel like they are part of it. Without them being involved, it wouldn't have worked as well. I wanted the scene to happen rather quickly, where it didn't hang at all. That it would happen before you know it.”
And Snow’s death wasn’t the only thing that shocked fans in the Season 5 finale. The episode also marked Cersei Lannister’s brutal, naked walk of shame — a scene that required a body double and took three days to film. Nutter admitted he was most anxious about filming the queen regent’s painful penance.
“I was on pins and needles about wanting to get it right because Lena Headey and I are friends and I think she’s such a great talent,” he said of the British actress. “It wanted it to turn out wonderful. Wonderful probably isn’t the best word, but I wanted it to turn out right.”
Headey defended her character to Entertainment Weekly, noting, “Cersei has done wrong, but she doesn’t really deserve this.”
frick this shite.

If was going to stay dead there would be no reason to bring Mel back to the wall

We aren't done with Jon Snow before we find out about his mother.

Doesn't deserve it?
Killed a Kings hand. Killed the king. Incest. Affair with cousin. Tried to frame the queen. Tried to rig trial against Tyrion
Please.

That didn't really answer my questions
Is it safe for me to go read that thread now or is there still stuff that can get spoiled in there for a hodor?

I was telling my wife the same thing, more like yelling "turn the frick around and save your daughter and kill that bitch"
I would hope next season starts with them doing just that.

There is still a storyline or two that is rumored to be up for next season that was in the books. But there really isn't a whole lot of discussion about them in the reader thread (except that they are coming up next season).

see, here's my problem with this... why show her showing back up at the Wall at the end? This feels more like a D&D troll to me giving those of us hope for the next ten months that she is there to resurrect Jon. If they really had the resurrection in mind, why not leave her out there (not showing back up at the end) and make us wonder?
She shows up back at the Wall 5 minutes from outside the walls of Winterfell once Stannis falls? And where is Davos? He left last week and never showed up?
It's not that I don't want Mel to do what we want her to do, but her showing up like this at the end just feels more like a troll on their part. Hope I'm wrong.

In the book she never left the Wall.

He was there to greet her.

This about sums it up. If he stays dead, I am done with the books and show. This is the first time I actually want a major spoiler before I read/watch something. I am not investing anymore time or emotions into a story and its world in which they leave us, the readers/viewers, without any hope or chance at payoff. When you kill off all the heroes, especially the one that was most developed to be the star, you exhaust your audience and lose them. I still think he will be resurrected and return as the prince that was promised, but I will know for certain before continuing the journey.
