How could it be more of a nostalgia fest than the previous one?

Is that what you'd also say to the crtics who give it a 46 rating?

Those who have actually SEEN the movie?

How do folks become such snowflakes over this stuff?

I liked the last Ghostbusters movie. It hit on many levels. I even liked the kid characters. IDK what YouTube or others says, I thought they & the story were just fine.

But it didn't need a continuation. It just didn't.

I doubt I'll watch even when it shows up on Netflix in 4-5 months.

It was OK. A lot of dumb stuff but some good points too.

Too many characters I wish they focused more on the original characters.

yeah, one could easily pick this movie apart, but if you go in wanting to be entertained for a solid 2 hours, you won't be disappointed.

it's a Ghostbusters movie. it's not intended to be some Oscar worthy movie.

a lot of the people that enjoyed are saying it's more like an episode of "The REAL Ghostbusters" cartoon. i didn't watch that show as much as a kid growing up so I can’t really give an opinion on that aspect of it.

these folks are also giving it a 6-8/10. that's not a bad movie.

The movie was awesome . The storytelling keeps getting better with each one. Btw I don’t include the all women’s cast. It’s sucked and should be banished forever. This movie had almost everything. Great lines, Great story, Good acting, and nostalgia of course. And it had lots of likable different characters that didn’t take themselves seriously and it was all in good fun!

I didn't like Phoebe or her ghost girlfriend.
The scenes with Ray were good. Nanjani sad good. The scenes with Z the original cast were well done. Good call backs to famous ghosts from the original.
I liked the main villan too and Zedmores lab. I just couldn't get into the main two characters.

Took the kids to see it this morning. They enjoyed it. I enjoyed it.

The move is fine, not sure why it’s getting any hate. It is Ghostbusters. They busted ghosts.

The first movie was lightning in a bottle where all the elements just came together perfectly. Wonderful script, special effects that still hold up today and most importantly the comedic chemistry of Aykroyd,Murray,Ramis, and Hudson.

Afterlife had nothing but member berries going for it imo As much as the 2016 film sucked I think it was the right approach. Find a group of comedic actors and writers that have good chemistry and move on from the legacy story and actors of the 1984 film.

That’s a perfectly valid way to see it

Another way to look at it though is taking in style and execution effectiveness.
