I keep seeing people ask where the evidence of Danny going mad is and then when someone brings up the brutal things she’s done the same people going well that doesn’t count those people deserved it. The deal is SHE JUST WENT MAD! So before this she was NOT mad! So rational logic would dictate you have to pick up signs that aren’t truly terrible but show SIGNS of the madness coming. Jesus some of you need it spoon fed to you

Kinvara is still out there and seemed a lot more powerful than melisandre. Maybe she is the lord of light.

I hope that's very wrong. I feel like any off the wall shite can happen now though for no real reasons.

es lets believe Lannister's it has worked out so well for everyone on the show. Right?
I’m pretty sure ringing the bells is universal for surrender of the city. Tyrion told Jamie to ring it before the fight ever began because it was a lost cause. Obviously the person who rang the ball wasn’t even Jaimie by that point the city had truly capitulated

She admitted she didn’t know which maesters we’re supporting the Harpies but burnt that dude anyway.

She crucified 163 leaders in Meereen without really figuring out of all 163 decided to crucify the children.

She invited a slave revolt that likely got not just adults but women and children killed as well.

She bought unsullied thennused them to murder the person she bought them from

The whole point is that it’s easy to be compassionate when things are going well.

Lesss so when things are bad.

What did the Khal’s do besides try and make her adhere to their traditions?

She snapped due to a few things. She feels that she had no one on her side anymore. She feels very alone. Varys betrayed her, Tyrion is failing her, Jon not committing to her the night before & her friend beheaded.

As she is sitting up there she sees the red keep that her family built so long ago & becomes filled the rage coupled with everything i listed above.. she snaps.

will say, Drogon absolutely destroying King's Landing is one of the coolest shots I have ever seen. Love or hate the episode, The cinematography was absolutely insane. They must have spent literally their entire Budget on this episode.

I see people keep downvoting this fact, but it's true. And I don't care if someone doesn't like the actual story, you can't deny- that was amazing, it would have been on the big screen at the theater. To consider that it was a fricking SINGLE EPISODE of a TV show is incredible.

I mean, you're going to get blockbuster movies that will face the question: does it measure up to that Game of Thrones episode in visual scope?

Too late then.

She already lost 2/3 of her children, her best friend was beheaded. She lost huge amounts of her army wand wasn’t being worshipped by the people

This was all set up and people are just “muh Dany cares”

Every native of Westeros wants jon over her. Her entire identity has been wrapped up in that she is the rightful ruler of Westeros which she regards as better than essos. Now after spending a decade plus of wandering in the wilderness. The people didn’t turn on Cersei like they did on the slavers in mereen. The educated and ruling class like and want Jon who has the actual claim to the throne and her top advisors from Westeros are plotting against her and she is borderline psychotic as it is.

crucifying over 100 people. Bam done. And before you say they were her enemies or they were slavers or whatever that’s not the point. When Jon has the men who literally killed him in custody what did he do? Yes they committed a capital crime so they were out to death but he didn’t do it in a painful horrifying manner. He hung them And moved on. She could e hung the masters or beheaded them or something else considered humane by medieval standards. The way she killed people was brutal even by the standards of the realm.

Even Tywin put people to work instead of killing them. Gendry got lucky there.

Yep. The funny thing is people complain about not having a justifiable reason for her break when number 1 it’s been building for a while and then number 2 the actions of the insane are just that insane and not justifiable.

Cool. One line of dialogue could fix this whole problem. "frick that Keep and everyone in it."

"now that's kings landing is mine, I will do what needs to be done."

"surrender does not stop dragon's fire"

I am the Queen of Dragons. You will know my pain"

"the throne is mine and I shall be it's last queen"

Anything . Something. A memorable moment before she goes ape shite. A brilliant line of dialogue you can always quote and call back to before that epic shot of Drogon. Instead we got nothing. Another wasted moment by subpar writers and directors.

Anybody notice all the Scorpion shooters were saying ‘fire!’ And not ‘loose!’. There is no gunpowder in Westeros so why would they say ‘Fire’ when they wanted to shoot?
