The episode itself was brilliant, if it had been setup better it would have been the best of the series.

Be ready for the contrarians to tell us how we’re all miserable and this was actually brilliant writing.

At the very least, I think I'm seeing everyone disappointed by how jaime and cersei were handled. It's disappointing to see both of those characters entire development mean absolutely nothing.

I guess you forgot 2 episodes ago, when the hound was the scared little bitch in winterfell and Arya was a literally unstoppable badass.
Tonight’s Arya storyline would’ve been fine, if episode 2 this year never happened.
It just gives more credence to how terrible the writing has been this year. So many things that happened tonight completely fly in the face of what had been setup in previous episodes. And no, I’m not talking about Dany going mad queen.
It did look awesome though. Never knew there were so many Michael bay fans on this board b

The memes have already begun. It's the GOT "Martha" moment.

Danys insanity when it heard the bells

Well it was some Zach Synder level darkness

What has been the point of Cersei this season besides standing on a balcony sneering while looking out at the city?

Northerners suffered greatly because of cersai. Killed their king. Killed Robb. Turned the Boltons loose on them. Backstabbed north and didn't help fight the NK.

End of the episode my wife's quote was "That was fricking stupid. Only redeeming quality of the episode was my midget didn't die."

Bro you didn’t like this shite season with 180 degree character changes, sloppy writing with meandering dialogue, and a complete lack of any emotion and stakes, so you must be negative and a hater!

Remember that time you tossed a spoiler into the hodor thread, claimed "oops wrong thread," then went back to the maester thread and bragged about it - only to be banned because you're too stupid to realize that admins really can read?
'Cause I do.

Y’all keep saying Jaime’s redemption arc was over, but how is it redemptive for him to kill Cersei knowing she has an innocent child in her belly, especially considering it’s his? To me it would have been extremely fricked up for Jaime to murder his unborn child in his last act. The attempt to escape with Cersei and protect the child was the right end for Jaime.
Literally 3 episodes ago:
Jamie-I’m sorry for what I did to you
Bran-You weren’t sorry then, you were protecting your family
Jamie-I’m not that person anymore
Two episodes later, dies beneath rubble in the arms of his sister who’s killed thousands and hired his friend to kill him

So did dany destroy the Iron Throne Room? I remember a few seasons ago we thought
we saw snow in the throne room but it was most likely ash in the air.

Yep. Confirmed that a mod who claimed not to read Maesters was a liar. That was fun.
