They just defeated a massive army of the undead and there is barely a mention of the Night King. Are they really going to move on so fast from that? I expected some sort of Night King epilogue from Bran. I know I'm parroting here, but everything feels way too rushed. We saw Missandei travel hundreds of miles to Dragonstone, get captured in battle, transported back to King's Landing, and then executed in a span of 15 minutes.
I understand the need to do this, but in this case, it felt too noticeable.

No, but you can’t deny that a lot of the hate comes from the story not wrapping up acoridng to theories that people have held near and dear

In terms of dragons there is a reasonable argument. The first dragon death via projectile was corny enough, but losing a second dragon in the same manner, but this time from a fleet of ships that came out of nowhere? It's almost insulting.

Cersei could have taken her and Tyrion out right there. And any other episode would have.

Last season was 7 and this one is 6. Idk but it’s lame. Are the episodes longer? It’s hard to tell when they are wasting so much time on talking about Sam spraying his wife’s guts and Gendry getting shot down

The overall quality of the show this season is clearly down, leading people to criticize things that would probably go unnoticed in an otherwise well-written and structured final season.

They wanted to save money on CGI production. I honestly believe that's why the long night was filmed the way it was. It's easier to cut CGI costs when you can't easily identify the flaws.

They did absolutely nothing with 1.5 of 6 episodes, can't imagine the filler we would have been treated to with 10 episodes.
