Amazing how many people hated this weeks episode. I thought it was good

While I really liked the episode, a lot of it has to do with me giving the next few episodes the benefit of the doubt. It’s the calm before the storm and it was great as far as I can see.

Theon is 100% dying next week

although it would be completely on character for him to run away and just let the NK kill Bran

but I don't think D&D have the balls to do that

That would be incredible.

Also, I agree with this and feel the same way:

God damn, if I watched TV looking for problems with what I was watching like a lot of folks in this thread, I would sell anything I owned with a screen. Must be frickin miserable to live like that

For all you “books were better” neckbeards, lets address a couple things

1. You will never get an end to the books, so whatever your feelings towards the show are, at least you’ll know how the story ends

2. Joe Rogan was right. For people who say the books were better, it has never been better to NOT see something happen. This is more an “I can read” declaration than anything

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, this was a great episode. A bunch of characters who have faced death many times are having lighthearted laughs while contemplating their impending doom. I think that’s exactly how it would play out

Haven't read this thread, but people realize King's Landing is about to become Night King's Landing right? Didn't see the Night King or the Ice Dragon last night at all. Hmmm.

He’s after Bran. I don’t think he’s taking any chances.

Literally everything in the world with a chance of stopping him is in Winterfell. Now he potentially has an airborne way to travel. I'm somewhat skeptical this season will sufficiently resolve the series but I think this could be interesting. It could go overboard if they make Cersei the night queen or some shite.

I can see the Night King being either in Winterfell or in King's Landing, but last night's ending doesn't prove anything. They could have just not wanted to spend the money animating a dragon for the last 2 seconds of the episode

They spent all of the Knight King/Dragon budget to have Ghost in the background on the ramparts.

And I think they just lifted some old footage and put him back there as an afterthought, he looked smaller than usual

Totally agree. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Not everyone will like every single scene when it's broken down into this much detail on here. I just don't understand why people waste so much time and energy trying to discredit things they don't like.

People claim they hate where the show is going, but they spend an hour of their Sunday evening watching it, then spend the entire week shitposting about how much they didn't like it. Every. Single. Week.

It must be incredibly miserable to spend hours upon hours not only watching something you don't like, but then explaining why you don't like it and arguing with people who do like it. If you're just simply watching to see how it ends and don't enjoy it anymore then stay out of the threads. Everyone already knows you don't like it. Go do something more productive than being a miserable frick stick and shitting on something that many people enjoy.

I don’t get it. The show is universally acclaimed. Yes there are some plot holes, but every show that has ever existed had plot holes

This is a show with dragons, zombies, magic, etc, and people are bitching about how fast Dany got to the wight fight

ETA: and I gave up on walking dead because that’s a show that went downhill

I haven't seen any mention of the intro of the show changing from last week to this week.

Last week the "walkers" (tiles) started flipping right at the wall. This week they were already flipped and new ones didn't start flipping until the camera pans and turns towards Winterfell. I'm assuming the trend will continue to show their progress through the kingdoms as the season goes on.

Which considering all of the speculation on the crypts playing a major role must have legs because those are shown prominently.

What was more uncomfortable: Scott's Tots or the Arya sex scene last night?

The reason they didn’t show full boob is because she’s only like 15

Nope, Maisie Williams is 22 and HBO said Arya is 18 now in the show (convenient )
