You are such a little bitch. I haven’t been complaining about the others. I’m not even complaining about this except tongue in cheek.
Where do you get off like i’ve Been audibly bitching about every girl power move (which I think most have been exaggerating even?)

Contrast their conversation with the the conversation between Brann and Jamie. That scene was actually done very well, neither one of them has to go into detail about what they are talking about because they both know what they are talking about.
Well yes. Bran and Jamie were both there for that. Quite different than Dany finding out that Jon has claim to the Iron Throne when the whole thing would have seemed preposterous.

the belittling of that completely earned and dramatically satisfying scene to being nothing but pure SJW circle jerk is just a dumb thing to say, joke or not
all brienne wanted as a character was to be viewed as an equal by her contemporaries. she accepted that she was never going to be formally knighted, but if she could be viewed as an equal, she would be fine. then go back to when she first went on her journey with jamie. all he did was shite on her and belittle her. even while she was more than proving herself as capable. a mutual respect, if not outright attraction, eventually formed between the two and this was the logical conclusion to the arc. both people have gone through shite. jamie now fully sees and recognizes brienne and brienne now has validation from someone shes totally admires. it was a great scene that was well acted by an actor and actress who have a bunch of real chemistry between one another

The Arya Gendry scene made me really uncomfortable for some reason.
Some reason?

This episode will be appreciated more when it’s all over with. People are just too impatient.

Hit the nail on the head. The entire scene was to basically spell it all crystal clear out for everyone who either hasn't been paying attention or just recently started watching.

"Why didn't you tell them?" is so much more realistic and graceful than something like:
"Why didn't you tell them that I pushed you out of that tower here in Winterfell so many years ago?"
That sorts of obvious "catch the audience up" exposition should be beneath a show like this.
Just because you know Lyanna Stark wasn't raped by Rhaegar, married in private, gave their son to her brother on her deathbed, and that son was Jon Snow, Dany is supposed to know this, too?

Her reaction was just repeating what most of the audience already knew. It's like they wrote it for people who just started watching the show.
Who is paying for the much higher budgets? Did HBO secure external financing?
That would make sense to me, the financing partner might be stepping into the creative process.
We’ve seen that in Hollywood, with the Chinese companies.

Tell me a series of books or movies that didn't catch shite the more popular they became...

I just want to point something major out you’re all missing:
When Dany said she wanted to break the wheel, she meant Bran’s.

Also I accidentally read that there was major “spoiler nudity” in this ep and went through a real rollercoaster anytime two characters were on screen

Jon killing the woman he loves to save everyone else would be a "bitter sweet" ending.

Before tonight I thought the NK would pass Wintefell by with most of his army. But Brans speech has me thinking otherwise.
Also, I think Dani’s comment in next weeks preview about the dead already being there is in reference to the crypts maybe?

It’s not about Dany though. The scene is designed to dump information on the viewer.
If it was about Dany, she would be the focus, and they would play out the consequences of that conversation. Instead, she registers her objection, and they cut away.

HBO is getting a two month sub from me just for this show.

Yeah they're definitely setting that up. They've made Dany hard to root for the past two episodes.

Yep, the writing is just elementary now. It’s like they think every viewer is retarded
