It would be outstanding if he just showed up at Winterfell with the Mountain and was like "thought you could use someone who knows a bit about working with the dead?".

one of the best scenes in the whole series is qyburn picking up the zombie hand and staring it down in amazement. it’s little stuff like that with characters like qyburn that make the show so great
the dude went from dying in a pile of filth in harrenhal to hand of the queen. gotta respect his game. He saved Jaime’s arm, saved the mountain, discovered the wildfire under the city, killed that ponce pycelle, built the dragon stingers and runs kings landing. Not bad at all
