Perhaps Sam kills him with the ancestral Valerian sword.

I doubt Sam's storyline goes anywhere else beyond the Citadel. My guess is he cures Jorah and gives him Heartsbane, and then Jorah joins Dany/John.

I think the Tarly's help the Lannisters defeat Highgarden then the Greyjoys take out a big chunk of ships while Dany splits her army to take Casterly Rock.

Exactly what I'm saying....they all but telegraphed that in the Jamie/Cersei convo in the map room, and also with Euron bringing her a "gift". No way he gets a hold of Tyrion/Dany...likely gets in a big battle with Yara/Theon and I guess the sand snakes...then takes them prisoner to give to Cersei.

I believe he will return north.

This is also quite possible.

Well everyone already is upset or in open rebellion to the crown anyway. The Lannisters still have the largest army in Westeros. So there has to be something else happen to create tension and conflict. You can't just have Dany roll through westeros unnoposed....that wouldn't leave a lot left for storytelling. Unless Euron is the only fallback for Cersei, then there will be another obstacle for Dany and her allies to deal with.

I think Cersei still has some cards left to pull.

Eurons navy is probably the strongest in the 7 kingdoms and it has the most skilled sailors. Unless the dragons destroy Euron I see him causing absolute hell for Dany.

True, but naming Jaime the Warden of the East isn't quite like naming, say, Randyll Tarly the Warden of the Reach.
Yeah, they're definitely setting him up to be a major bad guy, but his army is still way smaller than the Reach's, and being named warden won't necessarily obligate anyone but his own men to follow him.

I could see right before a big battle is to take place the wall comes down and everyone heads north to fight.

Well i sure am glad we spent all that time with Sam and Gilly to find out where dragonglass is located.

Hey now. I, personally, was curious about the chamber pot cleaning process employed by the Maesters.

That would be so lame . Dany's army needs to take a big hit to make the invasion of the whitewalkers very interesting.

Lannister forces are depleted of provisions, but they still have a decided military advantage against the Tyrells. Really their only courses of action right now are to either sit and wait for Dany to move in on King's Landing or to go on the offensive elsewhere to help resupply their army.

There really isn't anywhere else of relevance for the army to attack that makes strategic sense. I think Jamie definitely showed their next move when he was talking to Cersei. He told her they need more supplies for their army.

A good move might be to abandon Kings Landing and move the court to Casterly Rock. Highgarden is just south of the Rock and they could do raids to reprovision from their home base, which appears to be much more defensible. Cersei would of course blow up Kings Landing when leaving, giving us the fulfillment of the vision Dany had while in The House of the Undying.

Of course, due to budget constraints, it would never happen.

Doubtful, unless she suddenly got ambitious at the prospect of her future son becoming lord of Winterfell, since Bran can't have children.

So Ramsey's son would rule Winterfell. Nice.

True....the throne room was pretty burnt to hell in her vision. It could be from wildfire or from Dany's dragons.

They are too busy holding the door and not letting Maesters in.
