So Ramsey's son would rule Winterfell. Nice.

Speaking of Hodors did anyone see their theory that Mel could just plop the fireproof Danny in a bonfire to generate infinite magic?
Melisandre gains her powers from the Red God, the Lord of Light, whose primary manifestations are through fire.
Dani has showed repeated immunity/resistance to heat and fire throughout the show, if not the books.
It bears some scrutiny that of all the various gods, the Red God seems to impart the most power to his followers (and seems to have some purpose to the various acts). It's conceivable that he is the one providing the visions through the flames, that recently even the Hound has witnessed.
Dany, of all the various players, seems to have a legit claim to the Throne, and has been gifted the rebirth of the dragons through the usage of ... fire. She might well have been chosen to take the dragons and deploy them, not necessarily for the taking of Westeros, but for the upcoming war against the Night King.
At the very least, I would think it wise for her and Melisandre to meet and at least perform some sort of ritual to see if there is some clarification of her role.
If Mel gained power through the cutting of throats, I'd say it's a non-issue. But she burns people to do it... at least they should investigate if the Lord of Light is the one who granted Dany the protection from the fires she's been exposed to. Who else might have done that? Is there any record of anyone else who could survive a single one of Dany's episodes? I strongly doubt it's hereditary, it "must" be the will of the Red God... I would venture to suggest.

There's no reason to think the S6 finale didn't take place over months. It's not like Varys went from Dorne back to Meereen without blinking. It's implied he gathered banners from Dorne and the Reach in the meantime.

I'm a Hodor but I've seen every episode at least 3 times and have watched all the history of Westeros stuff and been reading the Maester thread since last season. I have to think we have a giant curveball coming. Dany's forces have to take a giant hit or to me it's no contest between her army and anybody else's including the walkers. The dragons can take out thousands of wights in the blink of an eye without ever getting within 1000 feet of them. We know fire kills wights. How many actual White Walkers exist?? We've seen maybe a dozen at most. A group of 1000 men with dragon glass and valaryian steel could take them out fairly easily in my opinion. Either Euron has the dragon horn thing or the Walkers have something very powerful we have not seen yet. Yes they have ice giants but they are really just super sized wights that burn just like the rest of them do. The dragons are the real game changer. As long as they are around ships and wights are just kindling. Something has to nullify them or these battles are over before they begin. I think we see a dragon go down at the end of this season by forces we do not yet know exist.

IMO Dany will lose a lot of the Unsullied and Dothraki from not being able to adequately feed her forces in the winter.

If they brought a 1000 ships and didn't fill them to the brim with supplies before they left then they deserve to starve.

Is KosmoCramer the biggest crybaby in the Hodor thread? Seems like I remember him being responsible for a lot of bans in past seasons.

She has come to Westeros with far too much to her advantage. Euron should have wiped out half of her fleet in the premiere. I guess they can still do it since they're technically not in Westeros, but Dany has way too much power going for her now.

How are the Dothrakis gonna deal with the North? Something had to happen to move them off the board. I just don't see who has the ground troops to do it.
I don't remember - did they mention how many Dothraki came with Dany last season? Because before that sideplot, there had to have been what, a couple hundred Dothraki tops remaining with her right?

That's why I'm saying a huge curveball has to be coming. Her power dwarfs everybody else's at the moment.

In the books, I don't think that she'll leave Meereen on a high note. It will be one in defeat. On top of that, I think her route back will be through Valyria, which in its true form can't be done justice on the small screen. It supposedly makes Mordor look like a vacation spot. They've really built up that place in the books, so I doubt we don't see it and the Doom explained. She to Westeros unable to conquer it, but she should have the forces that are able to save it from the Others.

There's no way the Lannisters can launch an attack on highgarden. They are the 2nd wealthiest family behind the Lannisters and have many more provisions than the Lannisters. Their best course of action right now is to try to control the seas with the greyjoy fleet.
Actually, that's what happens in the books, Euron's fleet sails up the Redwyne to attack Highgarden and loot and steal from the Tyrells. He isn't doing it for Cersei in the books, but it would be a way to tie a book element back into the show's version of the story. Euron defeats Dany's fleet, things are looking up for the Lannisters, they sail to and take Highgarden, now they have provisions. Then in episode 6 Tyrion leads an attack on Casterly Rock and takes back his home, dealing a major blow to Cersei.

I think they do care, which is why they supported Stannis 3 years ago.

There's a theory the faceless men have a deal with the iron bank and trained Arya and let her go to kill the Lannister's because they can't pay the iron bank back. Letting Arya do the deed and not the faceless men would avoid a war.
