A lot better than last seasons
Good balance of set up and progression

Ehhhh pretty uneventful. That Sam montage of gagging at cleaning up the shite seemed really out of place with the show.

We only have so many episodes and we get this shite? After waiting a year? Wtf

I didn't mind that. Only scene I disliked was the one with Ed Sheeran. Seemed like with only 13 episodes left they'd leave scenes like that out. It really doesn't add anything

Thought it was decent start.
I also thought these episodes were going to be more than an hour long?

It let us know where Arya was heading

Do y'all think the key Sam stole was the same key the alchemist/faceless man had Pod steal?

Possible spoilers ahead of you didn't watch the preview for next episode.
That wolf they showed didn't look like ghost at all. Does Arya reunite with Nymeria next week?

First episodes have never been strong but that was a better one
Agreed, despite the weird scene with Arya and the Lannister soldiers.

I loved that opening scene. Arya going ham on House Frey was so satisfying. Winter has come for House Frey.

What a bullshite casting
They did it as a surprise for Maisie. She is a huge fan of his.
Speaking of Maisie, does she look off tonight? She looks puffy. I've thought that in some of the promo pics but it really showed up on video.
Was that Wun Wun with the army of the dead? Or the other giant from the battle?

Stannis already told him about dragon glass, why is he acting like its such a revelation
and anyone who's ever visited dragonstone would also know that
was this supposed to be some big secret?

A lot of really good scenes, with some strong performances, specifically The Hound is just a fascinating character.

There were 3 giants in the army of the dead.

Wun Wun died at Winterfell

The hound got absolutely mind fricked.

Who was in the cell that knew about Dany and told Sam?
Have we talked about how Euron kept getting jabs in at Jamie?
