I don't know how Wun Wun would have ended up beyond the Wall after the battle.

I think that the guy that plays the Hound might be the best actor in the series. Dude steals every scene he's in. Thoughts?

It showed Arya still has empathy for the common man (and their struggles), and that she is not simply a sociopathic killer.
O I liked that scene a lot--especially the soldiers talking about their motivations to get back home. The new father wishing for a daughter was fascinating from his perspective and Arya's, who watched her father die.

I think the kid that played Joffrey was possibly the best.

It was also a pretty good cameo for Ed Sheeren.

I don't get the hate for the scene with Arya and the soldiers. The scene forshadows looming inner conflict for Arya between herself and her actions.

The interaction shows that the people she kills aren't as one dimensional as we and she think. That is an argument that will return to the show at some point.

As for Ed Sheeran, I really don't care about that. I'm old and I barely know who that dude is. Couldn't care less if he has a role. Jim Broadbent was the more significant guest star.

I thought the Hound was just fricking with them in the fire scene. Guess he really saw the wall

So clearly, based on the trailers, there will be a group (12 it appears) who are encircled and fighting for their lives north of the wall later this season. Who are they?

Jon
Tormund
Hound
Thoros
Beric
Jorah?
Davos?
?
?
?

Yeah a number of giants were killed at the battle at the wall, plus I'm sure more could have been killed elsewhere.

How is Jorah getting north of the wall? He is locked up in the Citadel. Davos isn't a good swordsman, no reason to take him.

Given that John is da King in da Norf, why is he wandering off north of the wall?
