I guess Meereen is just a black hole which swallows all interesting characters

So now people are saying that everything arya did this episode was out of character. Makes it very likely an actress or jaqen was playing as her.

Arya is left handed but she did everything right handed this episode.

In a previous episode she said she didn't need a cabin but in this one she requests one

2 Episodes ago she slept in the dark with her back against the wall and this episode she walks about in broad daylight like she owned the place

Since the next episode is titled "no one" I'm hoping we get some type of resolution or answer

Tyrion has been pretty pointless this year. Mereen is just a blackhole of suck that even eats up awesome characters like Tyrion and Varys.

And he's the lawnmower. I haven't heard that one in a while.

Personally, I'd like to be the plow. The waif has a hot Bridget Fonda thing going on.

LSH seems like a pointless addition at this point. There is enough going on.

Agreed.

Send it to Bronze Yohn and have him give it to Robbyn?

Its kind of bullshite - the waif would have known how to deliver a killing blow. Whole scene felt kinda weak to me personally but that unfortunately is pretty standard for Arya's storyline the past few seasons. Only really delivered in a few episodes.

I think it showed the Waif deliberately disobeying Jaqen's orders...

indeed he did, but who is going to believe that?
unfortunately i do think that the show will be more straightforward than that...sansa send the letter to LF at moat caillin, asking for him to send the knights to winterfell. she could blackmail him if she wanted to, but she also could have just done that when they met at mole's town

The fact that we still have yet to see the scene shown in the season 6 trailer of LF standing in the snow/woods, I have a feeling we get that scene in the upcoming episode. If that is the case, then I think it would be pretty obvious that she sent the letter to him, and not Sweetrobin.

Now if that scene follows the Battle of the Bastards, and LF is asking Sansa "WTF" in that scene, then she could've gone around his back to Sweetrobin.

looks like HBO has released the episode description for episode 8:

quote:

Episode #58 (season 6, episode 8): “No One”

Debut: SUNDAY, JUNE 12 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT)

While Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) weighs his options, Cersei (Lena Headey) answers a request. Tyrion’s (Peter Dinklage) plans bear fruit. Arya (Maisie Williams) faces a new test.

Written by David Benioff & D. B. Weiss; directed by Mark Mylod.

4- Cersei going bat-shite crazy and doing something really really out there. (Knowing Cersei a pretty good chance).

Did they use all of the wildfire on the show in the Battle of Blackwater? I wondered if the nod to the alchemist making wildfire in Bran's vision had a dual meaning and after the Queen of Thorns saying something to the effect of "What will you do? Kill them all?" if she tries to pull a Mad King.

Weird that there is no mention on Jon and Sansa. Bastard bowl must be an E10 thing at this rate.

There are pictures of her using both.

Pretty thin. She likes being assertive and won't accept being stuck in steerage. She's been carted around as a slave or prisoner for years and she's not going to accept it anymore if she can help it, which she can.

That's what made me think it was a "mummer's farce" and that the actress was helping her with the ruse.

It doesn't seem likely, though, as they could not have been sure that the waif would go for the gut stab.

It's a bit disappointing that Jaquen would allow her death, seeing as how much they seemed to like each other. The waif is definitely going to die, though. I'm pretty certain of that.

That's what I've been thinking. If that isn't Arya, it means someone either put their own life in danger or Arya was willing to put someone in harm's way, which seems unlikely given the fact that she refused to kill somebody innocent.

I'm pretty sure it'll be episode 9. That is when they always have the big battles (except for last year when they had Hardhome in episode 8).
