Wasn't Jon burned fighting a white walker while trying to save the previous Lord Commander?

i could definitely see something along those lines happening re: burning the body. hell it may resurrect him (think dragon eggs in season 1) without the red woman being necessary

Oh that'd be a whopper. Actually, only if the wildlings take control will I be okay. If sir Allister or Sam takes it , or anyone from the night's watch, I won't enjoy it because it'll probably drag on forever.

I like all the various story lines, but damn, there are so many, that it feels like hardly anything happens in a given episode because they have to scan across so many stories in only an hour.

Watch next episode will be heavy on Bran, Baelish, and possibly the wildlings. Either way, it'll go to a completely different part of the story, yet again just sprinkling tiny bits of movement into each story, none of which seem anywhere near coming together.

Could the red woman be sacrificing herself for Jon, which is why we see her true self for the first time?

White Walkers are supernatural and connected somehow to the Lord of Light so can burn Jon

Maybe I just really want Jon to rise from fire

I don't like the bloodline to the throne. Renly was right that it shouldn't matter. It should be who is best for the people. That is why I'm holding out hope for Gendry. If he becomes legitimized and takes over the storm lands/dragon stone. Then maybe he can rally enough support to take the throne and avenge his father's death. He could marry Arya as well, to help his claim (she was very smitten with him). Plus Davos has his back. Pretty remote at this point. But somebody else has to rise and put an end to all the madness..

Jon may rise from the fire but I'm willing to bet he doesn't want the Iron Throne. He wants to be a Stark and rule the North, not all of Westeros.

LF said that last time the Vail(Veil?) teamed up with the north, they overthrew a king.

I have to wonder if he truly understood how seriously crazy Ramsay is. The "alliance" of the North he's trying to set up is built on a very weak foundation.

If Sansa can make it to an allied House (or even Castle Black), she could (and should) want to purposely screw Littlefinger's plans. Even House Arryn (the Eyrie) would be hard pressed (philosophically speaking) to back Baelish against one of Ned Stark's kids.

I mean I know all signs point to Jon being resurrected, but what if it just doesn't happen and he's dead?

I mean I feel like this board will melt bigger than the 2011 National Championship.

I originally thought she was giving up her life, and giving it to Jon....since she gave up so much, it turned her old.

Nah Jon is too stupid and follows that oath way too seriously. He would want to stay and defend the way and freeze his arse off.

Red Woman said she saw Jon fighting in Winterfell in the flames.

What she sees in the flames has already shown to be faulty at best though right?

i made a thread about that a few weeks ago. basically, "which storyline is most likely to fail?"

what if Dany never makes it across the Narrow Sea?

Oh the entire board will melt along with a good portion of GoT fans. He's too valuable to the story to die.

They've hinted at it some, but I'm honestly starting to think their whole plan with dany is for her to be content ruling across the sea and never come back to westeros.
That would make me feel like soooooo much time was wasted on her storyline.

We don't know that. For all we know, she might have saw 1 real vision, misinterpreted it, and refused to believe she was wrong..so she kept pushing Stannis on false visions
