Have we acknowledged that they realized they fricked up Dorne so incredibly bad that they decided to kill everyone and write it out? That shite just happened.

No shite.

I'm so sick of "badass women." In reality, a man would just effortlessly slap their little sticks away and rape the shite out of them.

So I guess Elaria and her old ashy pussy are in charge of Dorne now?

Overall I thought it was an ok episode to start off season. They have to set up storylines for the season. They could have put arya in a different episode. I mean they showed 2 minutes of her. I would have rather more Jon story or something than that.

No clue what the Sandsnakes are going to do either. I feel that whole story is ruined. Maybe assassination of some Lanisters? IDK I hope we don't see to much of that bull shite

The Dorne coup will bring Dorne into direct conflict with King's Landing and throw a whole monkey-wrench into any plans that could have seen a kind (but weak) ruler like Tommen sitting on the Iron Throne for many years.

Brienne and Sansa... awwwww yeah! We haven't seen nor heard from the Umbers since the Red Wedding. It would make sense for them to head to Last Hearth but they may just make straight for Castle Black. I've appreciated Theon's slow return (but with a heavy dose of hard-earned humility).

And to think Balon Greyjoy is still not dead. It's season 6, he should have died three seasons ago.

Nah, he died in the books because chronologically, he had to die early to put the Iron Born plot into motion to ensure chronological order of events.

In the show, they dont' need to 1)Balon die Euron take over 2) Time to get kingsmoot 3) Raid westerlands 4) sail to Slaver's bay

Show version can 1) Kingsmoot 2) Sail to slavers bay 3) caught up

They will go to wall. By then Jon will be alive. He will then go with them to Umbers

It is clear both in the books + show, Dorne will oppose the Iron Throne. Without Aegon, Quentyn or Arianne, there is black dragon/marraige pact2/marraige pact1

Doran Martell had to die, as there is no way to justify why he would lead Dorne against the Iron Throne given lack of characters in the show

Brienne saves Sansa and Theon

The one thing that happened.

quote:

Dorne is now under the rule of Oberyn's paramour (after the murder of the King and the Prince)

Which is bullshite.

quote:

Khaleesi is headed to Vaes Dothrak

Which is where we all assumed she was heading anyway.

quote:

Davos finds Jon.

And all he needed to do was look outside for that.

quote:

We also have Melisandre with her creepy reveal.

I'm not sure if that's an actual plot point. More of a character revelation. Really the only thing that happened that's not wheel spinning was the Sansa and Dorne stuff. It didn't really set up much, it just continued with what we already knew.
