Did people really expect the first episode to be like an E9? E1 is always a setup episode.
That was probably the best season premier episode outside maybe the first episode of the show.

I'm honestly not sure. I think there's a good chance that she does but there's also the possibility she's just given the frick up.
I know people hate the Dorne storyline but I've always been intrigued by what a war with Dorne would look like for Westeros.

The people clamoring for new material didn't get much. Sansa and Brienne finding each other and the sand girls taking control were it.

I thought it was great; way more happened in this ep than I expected. But Dorne still just feels... bad. Take Dorne out and give us anything else, and it's a solid 8/10.

The best dialogue of that episode was Davos and Thornes exchange I was dieing laughing.

Poor Gendry can't catch a break. One day he is gonna finally make it back to solid ground, then find out that he got with an old hag. Then promptly, get back in his boat and just give up

How much new material did you want in one episode? And we'll get more new material next week with the characters they didn't cover tonight (i.e. Bran, Yara, etc).
People bitched last season when they rushed things and now it's OMG TOO SLOW. Make up your minds already.

Theon actually picking up a sword and killing was unexpected.

Oh great, Yara. She was so much cooler in the books. Show Yara blows goat cunny. I hope Euron throws her arse off the bridge with Balon.

All i required of this episode was to get Jon back. Ugh.

And to think Balon Greyjoy is still not dead. It's season 6, he should have died three seasons ago.

I think you are going to see a rebirth of Theon Greyjoy now that they are untethered from the books.

At least there was no Sam and Gilly in this episode.
