He needs to take a few pointers from Walter Frey regarding attachments to women.
By the way ... when will that fricker (Walter Frey) ever get what's coming to him ? I still hold out hope that it's Arya that kills him.

Yep, he's my number one. He's a stinky looking creepy old man with zero honor and he just seems like a bitch if he had to take you on straight up.

Yeah this is the one problem with a show/story so rich in characters and not enough television time per season. We haven't heard anything from Frey and they set him up to be public enemy #1 after last season. I'm sure they'll pick up with him eventually and it'll be like just yesterday that he betrayed Guest's Rights, but for an entire season to go by without much of anything from Frey seems a bit... underwhelming for public enemy #1.

Nope, Cersei dying is still my number one current wish, although it would please me greatly to watch Arya slowly push Needle through Walder Frey's throat and watch him drown in his own blood.
In other news, the Maester at the wall told Sam he was a Targaryen. Did we already know this?

I actually liked Ygritte but it seems ppl dislike her here. I guess, in hind sight, I wasn't shocked that she got the axe but I felt bad for Jon the way it happened.

Yes. Season 1 I think. Somebody told Jon that before he went to the wall.

Yeah I felt the same, even though it probably doesn't make much sense story wise for them to get together. Really makes me feel foolish at my own naivety when she was killed knowing how GRRM rolls.

Great great episode
had me on the edge of my seat the entire time, it was a great recovery emotionally after the Viper episode last week
That douchebag finally got killed and Jons leading Castle Black (if he makes it back) frickin awesome.
Battle scenes were awesome, the did a good job of capturing the magnitude of the fighting. My only thing I didn't like was the cheesy Jon/Ygritte moment at the end where he's in the middle of a battle holding her, like he wouldn't have gotten killed in 2 seconds
And I was
at the "you'll be okay!" Scene with Sam and the guy with a arrow through his throat
MUST HAVE NEXT WEEKS EPISODE NOWWWW ARRGG
also some dickhead on the comments section of the site I watched the episode on posted a (what I assume to be) fake spoiler like an a-hole and I kept waiting for that thing to happen even though the thing had to do with someone in KL. I'm hoping it's just a bogus troll post.

He said it himself or implied it. Talked about how they murdered his family and said his brother was the mad king

dude when he was talking about his broad from back in the day with Sam i had a flashback to lady olenna talking about banging her sisters husband with margaery.
could it be?
could it be?

Anyone who says otherwise was just expecting too much.
It just didn't make any damn sense at times. they stood around a lot when they should have been firing arrows, they just stood around and let the giant hook a mammoth to the gate, they skipped the best fight (giant in the tunnel), hey guys we have a dire wolf?
It was far from a great episode. not that it was terrible but..
Edit to say some nice things about it. The visuals were great, the giants/scythe anchor thing/giant arrow/one long continuous fight scene covering the entire courtyard were all badass.

Most of the knights watch have no clue what they are doing. They made that very clear

Still not long enough
16 of those minutes with be Dany looking at her dragons and deciding what to do

My questions are...
1. Is the only reason the Wildlings are trying to get past the wall is to escape the looming White Walkers?
2. Why do people in King's Landing or the rest of Westeros not seem to worry about an inevitably Wildling victory and send help to the obviously outnumbered and outmatched Night's Watch?

They made the leaders at the top of the wall seem unsure of themselves and the shooters were a reflection of that. Those in charge there constantly wanted nothing to do with being the the shot caller. This also explains how Jon comes into leadership.

The wall has stood for how long? They have no concept of a rebellion working or the wall failing.
Plus they are too busy worrying about politics and shite to worry about shite that matters. I think that's a major theme in GOT

The Watch sent a raven to KL asking for men, and Cersei shut that down. I forget what season that was.

Yeah. Wouldn't be surprised if the dead army attacks the wildlings next episode...otherwise they have no hope (I don't think Stannis can possibly be close enough).
