I'd think Tywin going down will be episode 9, with Tyrion on a ship at the end of episode 10, and Jon being made Lord Commander the ending of episode 10.
Jon's arc is perfect to go throughout a season. Tyrion, not so much. I think Tyrion will at least get to Essos, and I think kill Tywin on Episode 7 or 8.

I figured that was pretty much a given. Same as bloodraven being the Three Eyed Crow...but I guess we'll see in 20 years whenever Winds of Winter comes out

What book do Dany and her maid get it on in? That is pretty much the only scene I care about anymore.

This may have been discussed in here, but I believe Jeyne does not die in the books correct? I want to say she didn't even attend the RW. I need to reread all the books, I just don't feel like it.

No, Jeyne and the Blackfish stay in Riverrun.
She and her mother have a scene with Jamie (after he negotiates the castles surrender) asking about whether she had an heir or whatnot-this scene reveals that the sorceress Maggy the Frog was likely a Westerling and that Jeyne is certainly not comfortable when the moon tea and heir are mentioned making me think she really loved Robb and was forced to drink the moon tea to abort the heir.

They managed to squeeze out this entire season with Tyrion with far less happening. They have far more material to work with for Tyrion for the rest of ASOS than they used in this season really. They could do Tywin in episode 8 and the battle at the wall with Stannis in 9, but I would think they would need more than one episode to setup the Lord Commander voting bit.
But they seem to like to put the most shocking bits in episode 9, so that leads me to think Tywin.
Could go either way, much depends on when Joff bites it. They need at least two episodes for the aftermath and trial, then an episode for the trial by combat.

Yeah, that could close the season just as easily as Jon as commander, but I'd lean Jon since it;s more meaningful. Gonna be a fun season to watch.

First post in this thread in what seems like forever. I haven't watched any of this season, but was talking to a coworker at lunch about the episode today. He mentioned how he didn't like the queen getting killed because he thought she was hot. I had to ask him what queen, then quickly realized he meant Robb's queen.
This is one of the things I don't like about having the show with the books. I almost feel like there is little chance that Jeyne or the potential of Robb's heir has any more to do in the story. It's kind of disappointing that potential storylines are being cut out of the book by events in the show; meaning that GRRM likely told the HBO writers not to worry about keeping Jeyne.
ETA: For some reason I thought I was in the mother of all reader threads.

the show is basically killing crackpot theories, there's really nothing jeyne can add to the story. Martin makes this clear with the surrender and the revelation of the moon tea. basically it's just people hoping there is more with her sneaking off with the black fish.

Do you guys think this post from the Hodor thread:
is closet reader? Is a RA recommended? Do you even care anymore?

so anyone else think that the brotherhood without banners were tracking the lanister men from the wedding?
if so do you think it will be possible for the priest to revive anyone?

I laughed when I saw this "guess". Looks like most ignored it though so hopefully most will be unspoiled for what has got to be the final scene of the season.

Don't RA. That theory is certainly something within the grasp of a show watcher who pays attention.

Did last night's episode put anyone else in a down mood? I feel like I did when I got to the RW in the books.
