That whole scene was just awful and it was largely because she acted it so well. Her yell made my stomach turn.

I think that they'll fill a bunch of it with expanding Tyrion's trial and the Red Viper taking an interest in him. I'd expect Tywin at most to die by Episode 7 or 8.
Be interesting to see which they go with for episode 9 next year, I'm guessing either Tywin or Stannis showing up. I'd lean towards Tywin, so they can have Tyrion sailing off on the boat in the 10th.

I don't think there is any way they kill off Joffrey next episode. They are going to get a ton of mileage out of the RW with the casual viewer(similar to Ned's death). There are only so many HUGE moments in the story...I doubt they do two of them back to back.
Yeah, no way it happens really. It would screw up the whole Red Viper/Tyrion interaction, and most of all it would make no damn sense at all for Mace Tyrell to not be at his own daughters wedding.

Yeah, that was by far her best performance in the series. Wish they had her claw her face, but the groan/yell she lets out was perfect.
IDK, Jaime's monologue in the bath was amazing.

All this.
What would killing Joffrey this season leave for next season besides the Viper and Mountain fight?
Killing Tywin will take 10 minutes of the last episode.

Yeah, that yell by itself struck me to my core.

He really is awful. I see why they give him no lines. Oh well, he gone now.

Michelle Fairley fricking knocked it out of the park.
you hear Catelyn's pain, and feel every inch of it with the way she portrayed it.
that was fricking perfect.
give her a fricking emmy for that shite.

If she doesn't at the very least get a best supporting actress nomination for it I'll be super, super pissed.

The look on her face after she slit the girls throat was perfect. I think they did it great. I don't care about the changes.

Yep. I'd say the first or second episode.

I'm not gonna read the whole thread, but I'm sure this has been discussed. Isn't it kind of a big deal that Robb's wife at the wedding and got killed, since she was not there in the books. She's still alive in the books and I''ve been assuming that Martin was gonna have her pregnant with Robb's heir.
