The Unsullied are actually trained as phalanx style spearmen to fight in formation, but what the hell, he was pretty badass.

Does Lady Sybell Westerling strike you as trustworthy? And is the name Sybell meant to imply some degree of prophetic ability or intuition? I don't really have an opinion on a pregnant Jeyne but I don't trust her mother's assurances for a second.
Yeah, I'm aware of that crackpot theory, hence I was referring to it. Jaime and Cat both refer to the mop of curls the same though, and there would be little reason for Jeyne's mom to conspire with Tywin then turn around and conspire back by hiding a child. Wouldn't make much sense from the Mom's perspective.
Either way however, I think it's safe to say tonight's episode shot that theory down.

Man. I usually just lurk on the weekly boards. But damn that was brutal.
Also, I think next week ends with the Brotherhood finding Cats body and bringing her back.

Fear of Tywin Lannister is a powerful motive to hold to an oath but when you take the granddaughter of a known prophetess and name her Sybell . . .
Could she have known the Lannister power was soon to be broken?
But my best guess is still that the Westerlings will just disappear from the story.

Next week looks fricking awesome.
Looks like Tywin is gonna yell at Jaime because of his hand.

I was a bit disappointed in the RW. Robb, Cat, Talisa and a dozen nobodies died. It didn't seem as chaotic as it was in the books. The build up wasn't that great either. What is the point of having the bread and salt part if you don't explain it?
Well I highly doubt her mom would be plotting with Tywin to have her daughter killed. If anything, this killed off the Lannister Honeypot and Robb Heir theories. Of course Robb's wife was a completely different person in the show, so who knows what is going to happen in the books. Maybe it will just go away.

Unless you thought the Jeyne Jaime met was a fake and thought her Mom was playing Jaime that wasn't really possible. The Mom straight up told Jaime she gave her daughter Moon tea.

Walder did say they were under his protection as guests as they were taking the bread and salt.

Finally now that this have happened, I can post this now.
I am completely glad the a-hole Robb Stark is dead. He dishonored everyone and the Frey by what he did and expect everything to be honkey dorey.
He GOT what he deserved. It's justice GoT style.
AHhhh..Been waiting so long.

The writers say that the show will be 7 seasons, which means they'll start compressing things
Yeah, I call bullshite on this. Not on the quote, I read that too, but on what they are saying. The book series is set for 7 books and they've already said that they would stop trying to fit entire books into one season. Plus, as someone who has suffered through GRRM's slow assed pace of writing, there's no way in hell he finishes the last book within the next 3 years. Book 6 isn't slated until next year at the earliest and they would have to write the screenplay and shoot the series a year in advance.

As for predictions (post Book 3 spoilers)...
Next Week (NW): Aftermath of the Red Wedding. We get Grey Wind's head on Robb's body. Cat is pulled from the River by the Brotherhood. They skip Nymeria actually pulling her to the bank.
Next Season (NS): I'm thinking that we don't see Stoneheart until the season 4 finale, but we may hear mention of her around the sudden increase in Freys as tree ornaments during Arya's and/or Brienne's travels.
NW: Arya and Sandor head out away from the carnage.
NS:Arya's travels with the Hound will be one of the main storylines next season to move her toward Braavos and to develop some sympathy for Sandor, much like they did with Jaime this season. The scene at the Inn where she gets needle back will be a key episode.
NW: Sam and Gilly meet Coldhands who leads them to the Night Fort, although I'm beginning to wonder about that since they made it a point to mention Sam reading about how to get in through the wall. They meet up with Bran and the Reeds and show them through the secret passage.
NS: Sets the storyline for Bran's Journey with Coldhands (or without) to meet Bloodraven and the Children of the Forest
NW: Balon Greyjoy takes a dive. Asha moves to take his place. Toward the end of the episode, news of his demise reaches Dragonstone and we get the "two is not three" quote.
NS: 'Much time spent developing the Greyjoys, starting with the Kingsmoot to replace Balon. Development of Asha's character and introduction of Victarion and Euron. The third king gets his in episode one.
NW: Word reaches King's Landing and they are ecstatic. Balon and Robb are both dead and the war has all but ended. Jaime returns home. All is happy in KL and damn it feels good to be a Lannister. Tyrion has some unease about the bad karma from Tywin's orchestration of the RW. Joffrey becomes an even greater a-hole and continues to find ways to piss off Tyrion. Stage is set for the PW.
NS: Episode 1 focuses on the PW, ends with Joffrey biting it. Sansa leaves with Petyr, Tyrion is arrested. Major storyline will be Tyrion's trial and escape from KL. This will also provide the segue to introduce the Martell's through the RV. Season 4 finale has Tyrion's farewell to Tywin. If Sansa's storyline is developed with her going with Petyr to the Fingers and then to the Eyrie, then the season 4 finale may also have the flight of Lady Lysa.
NW: The wildlings attack Castle Black. Ends with "You know nothing Jon Snow".
NS: John's ascent to Lord Commander. Stannis coming to the wall. The battle with the Wildlings.
NW: Dany moves on to Mereen and begins her attack. They keep the disturbing image of the slaves slaughtered to point the way to Mereen.
NS: They'll work the storyline of Dany's time in Mereen, the Pale Mare, her and Daario, Jorah's exile, etc. This may be a lesser storyline for season 4 while they focus on the other characters.

I can only imagine what watching that without knowing what happens felt like...brutal Right after she lovingly talks about his future son. Really well done. Her death/unborn's death actually made it worse than the book as the audience had gotten to know her as a kind character . The show obviously featured Robb more heavily to make the RW impact greater and it worked really well.

I tend to agree with all of this.
Especially the Purple Wedding being next season. They'll be able to lead up to it by having Tyrion ride out to greet the RV and the Dornish host, and then really delve into that history. I think that's too important, and that Tyrion's trial and the RV v. GC dual will really be the catalyst for next season's progression.
Jon arrives at the wall in time to warn of the impending attack, he's getting raked over the coals for his involvement as a traitor, and then they attack and we get Yigrette (sp?) taking the arrow.
I really hope they don't cut out Cold Hands, as I think he'd blow the Hodors minds, but I agree that they seem to be setting the stage for Sam to guide them under the wall with his wizardry.
Balon being washed off the bridge in Pyke should be fun to watch, and I'm thinking we see Stannis board his remaining ships and set sail to destinations unknown...
