That would be a good one for the non-readers as well, but I'm sure they'd request my banning for posting it, due to spoiling Tywin being behind it.

Were the writers hinting at something with Gilly calling Sam a wizard?

I loved this comment off the GoT Facebook page:

"For all you non-book readers surprised at this, consider this: Argus Filch always was a cat person. Mrs. Norris simply wouldn't have gotten along with Greywind."

I really hope The Hound is the grave digger the wench sees. And I hope they give the Red Viper more extra time next season, if he last less screen time than that bitch Ros, I'll be pissed.

So, where do yall think they're going with Arya's arc next season? I think they have to give Arya and the Hound a new arc next season. Maybe have the Freys realize who Arya and the Hound are and hunting them down, with the season ending with Arya abandoning the Hound and taking a ship to Braavos. I just think they'll have her Braavos arc be a single season, and season 6 will be her return to Westeros.

I really liked the tower scene with Jon Snow, I feel like that scene sort of got passed over with the RW.

I think all this greatly depends on how they decide to play out books 4&5.

More like season 10 if they start splitting the books up into 2 seasons so Martin can finish the damn thing before HBO does.

Also, why didn't they have Ygritte shoot Jon as he fled? I know it doesn't play a part in the long run, but that would have been easy to add.

I think Book 3 will finish decently early, with the exception of Tywin's death and Jon's arc. I expect Jon's story to be very similar to how it was in the books, with him being elected as Lord Commander in the end of the season. Sam also won't leave with Aemon until the end of Season 4 at least (if not the start of 5).

I just don't see them making Arya stay more than a season in Braavos. It seems as if you could get through that quickly and get into some more interesting things, and the fact that Arya and the Hound go great together to where you can make tons of stories from them. They may could do the ferry story still where they're fleeing from the Freys instead of the Brothers w/o Banners.

Season 4 will have alot of Books 4 and 5 if I had to take a guess honestly.

I don't know. If I recall, not a ton happens with them. I think they catch a ferry at some point? Memory kinda foggy, its been awhile. I think one of the best things about Arya's character in the book is that he only gives you a few chapters on her after the red wedding. Shes one of the best stories and leaves you wanting more.

There were some really minor changes in this episode that pissed me off. This was one, and "The Lannisters send their regards" really pissed me off. That could be a really big blunder, since Jaime may could convince Stoneheart that it was solely Tywin, but "Jaime Lannister sends his regards" destroys that notion from Cat's perspective.
