He asked if he was the first man he killed. She said yes, the first man.

He asked if it was the first man that she had killed. Fat boy was a boy.

Methuselah Game of Thrones S3:E10 "Mhysa" Hodors Beware, SPOILERS INSIDE For me, the whole episode was mostly a whole bunch of nothing happening with a few brief exceptions. Might have been my least favorite in the last 2 seasons.

It was essentially a setup episode. I thought it was very good outside the fact that it was the finale. Dany scene was shite. The whole scene was terrible.

So they can just show no Dany all next season

ETA: Her character might be more interesting in the show since they don't have to show a ton of her

Try to gather some logical thoughts as to why I was mostly disappointed.

- Frey was way too much with the mustache twirling villain shtick.

- the acting/directing with Jon begging Ygritte not to shoot him was just bad IMHO. "I wanna go home"? What is he 4 years old?

- Arya was ok but not close to the Tickler episode with the "where is Lord Dondrion, where is the gold hidden "

- Sam meeting with Bran really suffered from no Coldhands. Bran just came across as wanting to go north for no particular reason. And did I miss it or was there no swearing Sam to silence.

- Danny crowd surfing.

- couldn't they gives at least Balon's death this season? And Asha/whatever her name is now rushing off to rescue Theon? WTF?

I also quite enjoyed the scene at the small council where Tywin sends Joffrey "off to bed without his supper". That was quite fantastic actually.

ETA: And speaking of, maybe it's just me but they keep hinting really strongly that Tyrion isn't actually a Lannister. Maybe I'm just reading into how the actor playing Tywin is presenting his lines but it certainly feels that way.

was thinking the same thing, i can't see tywin having that much hate just because he was born a halfman and killed his mom

if he kills him for being a bastard then the lannister name is tarnished since tywin cant keep his wife faithful

Think you are reading too much into it. There are theories that Tyrion isn't a Lannister but I don't think it is coming across like that in the show. He told him this episode that the only reason he didn't kill him when he was born was because he was a Lannister. If it was a bastard he would have no problem killing him especially since the mom died.

Loved the beginning of the episode and Joffrey's reaction to the RW. Lots of booms in one scene . As much as people bitch about Sansa, her story will prove to be much more interesting than Dany Lincoln the emancipator.

Also, thought this was a great setup episode, but the ending was weak. Should've done Coldhands or Lady Stoneheart.

Next season is going to be fricking amazing. Oberyn Martell, purple wedding, Oberyn vs. The Mountain, Tywin shits gold, Littlefinger Lysa and the Moon Door scene, all the stuff with Jon, Stannis going to the Wall, Arya going to Braavos, Jaime's redemption arc. Can't fricking wait. It's going to be a wild ride.

I think people were expecting too much from this episode. The pattern is set for shite to go down in episode 9 and episode 10 is used to tie up a few loose threads and lead into next season which this one did fairly well. Dany crowd surfing really was really boring. Even in the book I got so bored with Dany I pretty much forgot what happens with her. I was hoping for those dragons to fry those slaves so we can get to bisnes, that'd be one way to deal with the meereenese knot. Would have liked to see Jon tell ygritte she wouldn't kill him like he wouldn't have killed her when they first met, would have made nice symmetry with how their relationship started. Instead we get I have to go home. Don't get me wrong it was a good episode with those faults but him saying that would go better IMO.

Bring on the Martells!

Oberyn . What a bamf!!

I picture Oded Fehr, the guy rom The Mummy movies, as having the Oberyn Martell look.

Did anyone else get a weird vibe between Sam and Hodor?
