Besides the ending, GoT is considered one of the best shows, hugely successful critically and commercially.
And then to bring BSG (2004) into the discussion and shite on it too? Who the hell are these morons? “33” is one of the best episodes of TV ever.

I remember her as a young, very attractive, athletic woman playing opposite Patrick Mcnee in the old TV show "The Avengers".
Her acting chops did not diminish with age even though she'd not been in much over the years here in the States and seemed to fade away for many years.
It was great to see her in that part in GOT and to see she still had the chops to carry off such a demanding role.

Not a GRR Martin fan, but it's clear the HBO show was doing gangbusters until they ran out of his written book material and had to wing it on their own.
S8 was as colossal a collapse as we've seen.

I’m not sure about all-time but it is overrated. Black Sails was airing during the same time and I kept trying to tell people it was a better show.

In complete contrast to GoT, Black Sails got better every season and completely stuck the landing. Hands down my favorite closing scene.

Yes, but the books were starting to go off the rails by the end too, so even if he finished the last few books, they have may have been disasters too.

Besides the shitty ending I think the reason season 7 was meh and 8 sucked is because it revolved solely around the army of the dead and Dany and her dragons. Throughout the entire show both of those subplots weren’t as entertaining as the Westeros houses fighting each other and the drama in Kings Landing. Also a lot of the best characters were dead by the final 2 seasons or their character arc largely completed so they didn’t have as much focus on them.
