Any chance they start to CGI the wolves to make them bigger?

It is cool to have the real animals, but they would have to use CGI if they wanted to make them any bigger, or else get creative with the perspective on the camera work.

producers said after the second season was green-lit that it's gonna be a big decision ab whether or not they use CG for the wolves as they continue to grow. How they handle somethings at the end of this first season will be telling

I don't see how they can have real dogs do what needs to be done in some of the scenes later on.

I have not read the books, but watching these first two episodes my interest has been captured.

Thinking I will start the book series in a few weeks.

I bought the A game of thrones saturday. I'm on page 60 and i should be beating the series by wednesday. The book is good, and i'm pretty impressed, so far, at how close they are following the book.

that's true, but CG animals still looks cheesy at times even in blockbuster movies

I would be fine with CG wolves since everything else is done so damn well on this show. The attention to detail on every set and wardrobe is amazing. Having only seen two episodes I am wanting to read the novels.

Yea everything is so well done. I'm about to rewatch the episode. I watched the premiere four times last week lol.

Freauxzen I'd check out the show first, then read the novels. Watching it without knowing what is going to happen has to be an incredible experience.

Yeah i would hate to spoil the suspense in the show by reading the books. I think I will wait till after the first season to start reading them. Every time i see Ned Starke I can't help but think

I think the opposite is true for me. I just finished the book a week ago. It seems like it would be tough to read a 800+ page book while knowing all the important details. There are so many purposely vague things throughout the book that would drag on to me if I knew everything already. It was the suspense that made me read the book so quickly. The shows are very enjoyable because I am seeing the book come to life.

For those of you who have read the books, please try not to discuss things that haven't happened yet on the show. You are going to ruin it for the rest of us. I know you are nerding out over this show, but just don't post spoilers please!!

Was that directed at everyone and I was just the last post? I didn't put anything close to a spoiler in that post.

Everyone has been very good about not posting spoilers in this thread, and monitoring each others posts if any accidentally slip through. If any questions do arise there have been separate book threads.

ETA: Manwich your avatar freaks me out.
