Part of it was New Orleans: The Client
Don't forget that masterpiece of Claude Van Damme: Hard Target. What a terrible movie.
Animation: The Princess and the Frog

Parts of The Green Lantern were filmed in New Orleans.
The Dukes of Hazzard movie had a scene where the General Lee drove around Lee Circle. (It was supposed to be Atlanta in the movie, but you can see a Carnival cruise ship in the background)

The Cincinnati Kid
Really good movie
I'm not reading through this thread but "Hard Times" with Charles Bronson and James Coburn is an excellent movie about a bare knuckle fighter making the rounds taking on all challengers.

Macabre (1980)
Italian horror movie set in New Orleans
Great cheesy horror movie with lots of time capsule scenes of current New Orleans at the time. LINK

The Cincinnati Kid - w/ Steve McQueen

The 1958 version with Yul Brenner and Charlton Heston was also filmed partially in New Orleans (and New Iberia)

In fairness, the movie made it clear that
The family originated in Acadiana… not N. O.
