Let's be honest, if Negan caught this crew and started putting some work in with Lucille we would all be cheering with every swing.
When the show goes off air, the final episode should be a run in with negan where the entire cast meets Lucille. Go out with a bang.

I thought this episode was much better than the opener.
Now we are talking FTWD though. I almost quit after the 1st ep.

So, let's talk about the nonsensical bullshite of their hiding that yacht. Strand mentions that they are tracking them, obviously with radar. Well, they would know the general area of that island they went to. Are we to believe they wouldn't come in for a closer look and see the cove and maybe take a look?
Speaking of looks, they are hiding, yet they have every light on in the boat. Hell, the water was illuminated around the boat. Yet somehow this ominous boat chasing them couldn't see that light when it is the ONLY light around?

Why the frick is bitch blonde chick all up in ole girls kitchen making sammiches and shite?
It's like they reversed roles, and made it feel like the main chick was the one who lived on the island and the other chick was the visitor. Bitch was licking jelly off her fingers and shite too.
Travis needs to just be featured crying at all times. he's such a bitch.
Heroin boy needs to fricking cut his hair and change his clothes.
Son of travis needs to die yesterday. preferably by the mexican dude, out of sheer aggravation.
Blonde main chick needs to be punched in the face by black dude.
Sister of heroin addict needs to find a stud to give her the d so she'll stop whining all the time.
Mexican chick needs to get naked.
Mexican dude needs to fist fight travis and blonde chick
Black dude needs to kill everyone else and ride off into sunset and show cancelled.

my only guess is they were hoping the island would hide them and boat chasing them would just think they had skirted the island...but once they cleared the island wouldn't the chase boat realize they must be at the island?
I would like to know how far they can detect the boat following them on radar. If 30 miles they would have caught them in 5 hours...and seen them in even less time. Just doesn't make much sense to me

There is some serious hate coming off an episode that I really didn't think was that bad. I know, heightened expectations given how good TWD is right now. Compare this last FTWD episode with any episode from the farm season, actually isn't that bad.
OK, the characters are mostly horrible, new people is why this episode probably stood out. These people continue to do stupid things, flashlights, lights in general, yelling for people, wandering off but the main show had all that stupid behavior too and we let it slide for the most part, "Where's Carl?"

I had hope for the couple's oldest son who showed the boy (I don't even know his name) about "maintenance". He seemed to have potential...Until the end.

Haha. Yup. This episode was fine. We've been totally desensitized by so many seasons of TWD. They are warriors now for the most part. Seasoned and hardened. In season 1, Carl and Sophia were off in woods playing and a walker was there. Nobody freaked due to the ZA timeline. It took about 5 grown men to beat that one walker down. Hilarious by present standards. I like a lot of the scenarios they are introducing. It's getting better. I think we'll "remember" the characters more as they become "heroic". Early and not too much to work with yet. I actually respect the writers for bringing the storyline along slowly just as would happen if all this "unrealistic" world were actually "reality".

I noticed that too. I can't understand why she took over the kitchen. It didn't make sense.

Did every character leave that island and get back on the boat empty handed? No food, water, ammo, tools, drugs etc??

I'm sure Daniel scooped up some goodies while pilfering through the medicine cabinet. Junkies gonna junkie.

The little girl turning was kind of cool. Not a cool as the baby zombie on Z-Nation though. Glad the brother came and got the kid. Did not want him tagging along. Can't wait till they get off the boat though.

I want Daniel and Strand to kill everyone else, then 5 seasons of them turning into the Negan of the west coast.

How was strand using a cellphone? Shouldn't all the power be out thus no cell towers working?
