I was inspired by the "1984" thread..thank you.

My goat in this category is 2001: A Space Odyssey.

EDIT: The Title needs an actual numerical year in the title

2010 was not a bad movie in it's own rite.

It is hard to come up with good year movies that aren't 1984, 2001, or 1917

I keep thinking of stinkers like Year One, Blues Brothers 2000, and Wonder Woman 1984

Blade Runner 2049.

Didn't like it at first but it grew on me in a big way.

A Good Year with Russell Crowe is pretty good, I know that’s not what you’re looking for.

Summer of '42 (1971) was a movie I got to see boobs in, when I was 12 years old!

It isn't better than 2001 or 1919, but it fits the OP's requirements, and I remember it giving me hope for a fling with and older womam. won an Oscar for Best Original Score.

Trailer on YouTube (hear the music)-

It's about a high school kid who befriends an older married lady. Her husbands is killed in WWII, and our hero is there to console her.
