Headhunters - a very good Norwegian suspense film noir.

That movie is insane...I mean the minute everything starts going downhill - it's like an avalanche of unfortunate events.

Fantastic, taut, and crazy movie.

Agreed.

Also, The Secret of Their Eyes. (The Argentine version, not the American, crappy knock off.)

My favorite just missed the cut coming out in 1999 but Audition is a great horror film.

I also loved IP Man, 13 Assassins, Battle Royal, and Kung Fu Hustle.

Won the Oscar, BAFTA, and Golden Globe for best foreign film.
Won BAFTA for best cinematography.
Nominated for Oscar for best cinematography.

It was on Netflix but idk if it still is. I bought the blu-ray asap.

City of God and Crouching Tiger are GOATS and I'd put Spring, Summer, Winter, Falla nd Spring right up there with them.

A lot of good mentions with Oldboy, Let the Right One In, The Lives of Others, Pan's Labyrinth, A Prophet, etc.

I'd add:
Infernal Affairs
A Separation
Memories of Murder
Tell No One

Das Weisse Ban (The White Ribbon) gets better every time I watch it.

Amelie is good as well.

Let the Right One in is my favorite.
