Man who wasnt there
mentioned in the OP and not offered again in replies

an all-timer performance by Billy Bob Thornton of a character completely embodying the tone of the movie…so detached from his life and those around him that he literally “wasn’t there”. Shot in black and white it builds steadily a feeling of aloofness amid the horror of the cascade of violence that really is unique

the coens are my favorite filmmakers and this one is the one I think about the most.

Miller’s Crossing is their best movie, and the one I’ve seen the most

No Country may have been overall,
but Raising Arizona, Burn after Reading and Miller’s Crossing were all teriffic…

Fargo, Lebowski.

No country and it's not even close.

Probably the best movie of the last 25 years.

I realize I stand alone in this, but I thought the Cohen brothers version of The Ladykillers was awesome.

Raising Arizona might be my favorite movie of all time. I also truly love Lebowski and O Brother.

Watched Burn After Reading with my 15 year old last week - I didn’t remember it being so good … funny and light and interesting in that it basically supports Trump’s constant harping on the deep state - the main characters are all caught up in deep state nonsense because these people have really little going on

Just finished Barton Fink. That movie was interesting. I went into it not knowing what to expect, and I leave not knowing exactly what I watched hah.

Why? That movie is fantastic. I don’t know if it’s their best but it is my favorite.
