re: Everyone recommend 1 movie that you love that you think under 10% of this board has seen

Frank is a really great examination of the creative process and lots of ancillary issues around it (the question of talent, mindset, success, etc.) and it does it in a very concise 95 minutes. It's also got some incredibly funny parts and has a fricking stacked cast for such a small movie. The soundtrack has some bangers on it.
I've loved that movie since I first saw it on Netflix in the OG Netflix days right after it was released.

Phantasm, the first movie. Maybe more than 10% have seen it. Great old horror film.

This movie is so good and I know anime turns people off but everyone should put this on their watch list.
Just watch the first minute or so of this

I loved this movie as a kid. Not sure how popular it was, but I never see anyone talk about it.

I must have seen TLS a thousand times as a kid. Loved it and Enemy Mine for some reason.

1 movie . . . not a laundry list.

I'm interested to know if this one meets the 10% rule, but it's definitely off of the beaten path...

I've had that on my queue for a while. There is a ton of Asian cinema I have on the backburner. I really need to motivate myself to watch them.

Red Violin is fabulous.
There are probably hundreds of films made right here in the US/England in the past 20 years that 10 % or less of this board has seen.
Uncut Gems
Nobody's Fool
A Perfect World (best Eastwood film, imo)
Russian Ark
Lady Macbeth
Thank You for Smoking
