And you don’t think they do that to fake some objectivity? You believe them?

It was an internal document that got leaked by Musk.... Why would they need to fake something that wasn't supposed to be seen?

Im honestly surprised that the document doesn't give more specific guidelines and instead just having 50% women is enough to satisfy them.

Is Nelson Peltz gonna wanna team up with Elon if he costs him millions of dollars by tanking the stock?

Idiot.

To answer your 3rd grader response:

Yes, because they would return the company to profitablity again.

Do you even understand how investing work?

Yes, tanking a stock that you have a large amount of isn't a great idea. You would wanna sell off your stock before you tank it. Then buy it back low.

Peltz isn't on the board, so he wouldn't have to go through the same hoops to sell stock as a boardmember

Perhaps Disney is taking a cue from Hudsucker Proxy.

I don't know any mixed couples personally. But if you were to watch any block of commercials, you'd think all families have a black father (with a beard), an overweight white mother, 2 mixed children and a dog.

At least 50% of the underrepresented people pictured on underrepresented ads must be non white.

better yet hire all veterans as the males in the show and you can hit 100% while using all white people

1) "white males have to have served in the military to be considered along with everyone else" is about as pure an example of unequal treatment as you can get.
2) veterans aren't exactly thick on the ground in Hollywood. I can't think of any well-known actor under 50 who served.

Anyway, fairness aside, Disney's policies are clearly very illegal.

I'm more of a glass half full type of guy. Where you see limitations I see potential. You can make any show you want under these rules as long as you attach a black, crippled, tranny kuato to your white male characters.

We just making shite up now?
Disney does a lot of Asian stuff. Shang Chi, Mulan (remake) , Raya and the Last Dragon, Moana are all pretty recent. Also they added Korean content like the Worst of Evil. I honestly think there could be more Asian roles than black currently at Disney, especially in the animated department

It is pretty obvious that these are not needed qualities under Igar's leadership of Disney.

The only 2 black movies I can think of are Soul and black panther.

Well there are 8 billion people on this planet, if you can't find someone talented of every race, that probably says more about you.

Do some of you really look at a cast like this and think 'well they would've been able to hire more talented people if they couldve hired more white people"?

There was also some Disney+ show called American Born Chinese starring Michelle Yeoh. Not sure why it’s some controversial topic to say that Disney is beholden to China. South Park covered that years ago.

I suppose every movement jumps the shark to become the opposite of what they originally were.

Liberal values were originally interpreted as an endorsement of the value of the individual. In the 20th century that extended more widely to mean we don't discriminate against people because of their race, religion, or other innate demographic traits.

The progressive movement is essentially anti-liberal. In these policies we are seeing people devalued as individuals and treated primarily on the basis of their race, sex, etc. You will again be possible to deny opportunity on the basis of your race, etc.

If you are really a liberal then you should recognize that this is evil. It is evil because it discrimates unfairly against almost everyone unless they game the system for their own benefit. Even people who superficially benefit from the erosion of meritocracy should recognize the insulting nature of a culture based on the bigotry of low expectations. They may even eventually realize they were deprived of the normal benefits of competition at the highest level and therefore the opportunity to be the best version of themselves.

To systematically discriminate is to institutionalize corruption. It is the destruction of excellence (Harvard anyone) and it will lead to social amplification of racism, hatred, and violence.

It needs to be destroyed. It's proponents need to be disgraced. Proper liberal values which are anti-discriminatory need to be restored.
