Just finished the book the first time. Excited for this. I will say, there is a couple of parts in the book that I was like what is going on or I don’t understand

The book series is like 100,000 pages. It makes Lotr look like a Dr. Seuss book.

Same here. Loved the first movie, which I also saw in the theater on its first run (to age myself). Loved the books. Been waiting patiently for this to come out. Very excited.

That's a nice way to say terrible. I really enjoyed the first few books but it's a downhill plummet from there.

Everyone who was invited to watch the first 10 minutes last night said it's going to be the most amazing movie ever made from an audio and visual standpoint. They also said it's going to be a must watch on IMAX screens. We shall see....
